Lovely illustrations! However, to be honest with you: The controls felt a bit clunky to me. Almost gave up on the first level 'cause on your first tries it's pretty hard to make out what's an obstacle and what's part of the background and there's no way to catch up. The second level was nice, although I struggled a little bit with reliably triggering the wall jump and falling down can get quite frustrating. In the third level I fell down a shaft and couldn't progress any further, as there seemed to be an invisible wall and I didn't manage to wall jump out of there. I really like the idea of having multiple mini games telling an overarching story, though. By the way: Am I the only one who thinks the main menu music sounds a little bit like "Candy Shop" from 50 Cent? 😂
The initial level was a bit time-pressing at first. Maybe it’s because I rarely play real-time games. But I made it to the end! I loved the jumping part and how the cat clinched onto everything; it looked super cute and was fun to play with.
Nice little game with different "game sections" to switch it up. It looks good with the transition and art.
I would have liked to hear some sfx with the game with how well music was generally used as well. Also encountered some bugs with wall-jumping and the dialogue.
A small negative is that it feels a bit awkward to swap from using wasd + e and then mouse clicks for some buttons.
Otherwise well done on the jam!
I remember us talking about this game when there was some controversy, I'm glad you could resolve it!
This one is a strong contender! While the visual element is unfinished, this one tells an engaging story with properly paced gameplay elements!
You guys did well. You're not far off from contending for top prize!
Very nice game play. having a good time playing it
I'm astonished. Surprisingly cinematic and cohesive, just maybe make some of the actual gameplay a little clearer, like outlining what you can jump on and what's background.
Really interesting concept! Funnily enough, I also thought about having multiple character controllers but decided to go a different way >.< Great job! I really love the sketches and telling the story that way.
i liked the different game modes, especially the platforming part!
