I’m almost ashamed to say how long these puzzles took me lol. I thought at first that it’d be pretty simple being that it’s basically logic but these really made me think! The art is really nice as always. Things like the cat were such smart elements of game feel, and I really like the background, it fits really well

For feedback, I think it’s not visually striking enough whether the tiles will turn clockwise or counterclockwise. I think the best levels were ones like 6 where the direction didnt actually matter. Also I get way more “crossed paths” than I do “checkpoints”

Developer

Thanks for playing and the detailed feedback. We are looking at making some post jam updates and we will look at making the turn tile art clearer.

A cute, neat and charming puzzle game that reminds me of slide puzzles (but done good).
*I played in the desktop version
So first, technical issues or well bugs and stuff like that:
I didn't seem to find any bugs or anything of the sort so congratulations on that.

Now for feedback:
More of personal but the transition between scenes (the box opening animation) feels kind of slow so I would suggest speeding it up slightly.
Other than that I don't really have any gripes or anything I would say its "wrong" or "needs improvement" for what its there.
Overall, good game that I can see it expanded into a full release if you were to ask me.

Thanks for playing! And thank you for the in depth feedback

Loved how crashing the robots spooks the cat in level 7!

You guys clearly know what goes into a good puzzle game, well done.

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for playing! Very glad you liked Ben the Cat!

Folks, we have a winner.

Perfect game.

Full release when after you win the jam?

Developer(+1)

Wow, thanks heaps for the huge praise.

We might look in to expanding the game with some more levels and tile types after the jam :)

Great work on this guys!
I agree, the art is beautiful, and the execution was fantastic. Amazing work on such a complex game. Really liked all the effects with the boxes opening and closing, as well as the permission to visit any level.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for checking it out spoon, appreciate the kind words :)

Really well made game, and probably the best art I've seen so far. My only complaints are:

1) I don't really like the hour of code-ish core gameplay, maybe adding more mechanics to spice it up would make it more interesting? It's not that the gameplay is bad, I just wish there were more mechanics to spice it up a bit. For example, what if there were bridges that had to be activated by switches, or elevators that would take the bots to different floors, or just something small to make things a little more interesting (more tiles?).

2) The sound effect when the robots crashed into each other was a little loud lol.

Other than that, the game was really well made. The art and the level of polish really stood out, so kudos to you for that! Good stuff!

Developer

We’ve got some ideas for some more tile types we may end up adding after the jam. Thanks for taking the time to play and write in depth feedback!

No problem! It's what I'm here for

Really enjoyed the crisp interaction design, sound, and gameplay. Polished transitions and very satisfying trying out different solutions and going through levels. Well designed level progression and overall fun and satisfying to play.

Best game I've played so far. Always a treat to play your games Sid Fish! You nailed the theme, the art style was amazing and the puzzles were so much fun and even a dumbass like me had a chance at figuring them out. Smashed it! 5*  - Edit: make this game available for mobile with lots of levels,  I think it'd be really popular!

Developer

Thanks heaps for playing and the kind feedback Xander. We might look at further development after :)

Really fun, and quite difficult! I love the art style!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, hope you enjoyed the challenge.

This was a really well-polished game! The visuals and audio were very charming. The concept is nice and simple, but some of the later levels were real head scratchers (7, 9, and 10 specifically). It would have been nice to see more types of tiles that do different things. The cat screaming when you mess up was a great touch.

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback. We might develop it a bit more post jam and add in a few more tile types. 🐈‍⬛️

Incredibly cute game! I managed to get through to the last level for which I could only ever get two packages delivered, but the amount of time I spent on it shows how very well you've done with coming up with an engaging project.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing. Yeah that last level is a tricky one, thanks for sticking with it :)

Submitted(+2)

The art looks really nice and clean, the sound design is minimalistic which is great for this game, the concept is interesting and the puzzles get very complex with more robots. I enjoyed playing it and it was very satisfying when things worked out in each level.

Good job!

PS: The robots are really cute

Thanks for playing and the feedback :)

Original, polished, and zen. This is one I might come back to just for the fun of it, especially if you add new puzzles in the future. Just curious, have you ever played an old game called "Star Wars Pit Droids?"

Developer(+1)

I hadn't heard of "Star Wars Pit Droids," but looking it up I can totally see the comparison! It's awesome that we went a similar direction with the jam theme and restrictions!

Submitted(+1)

OK, I just unlocked the ending and felt all the chill vibes. This game should get featured!

Developer

Yay, you are the first one to mention they solved all the puzzles :)
Also, thanks for the praise!
