Playing as a behind-the-scenes worker of a platforming level is a really cool and novel idea. I always appreciate novel concepts for game jam projects.
Placing large amounts of coins in specific positions one-by-one got pretty tedious for me, unfortunately. It wasn't helped by how relatively large the level is; there's a lot of ground to cover and cross-reference with the map.
I'm not quite sure how placing enemies worked. Buying enemies didn't seem to do anything. I couldn't tell if I was missing something or they were bugged in some way.
I don't think the game's visuals make the best use of the Shapely diversifier. There's no shading, sure, but I wouldn't say the graphics consist of "simple shapes". Not a huge deal, though.
Hi! I love the idea going on. I think it would be cool if the "Player hero" is moving through the level and then you have to help him by killing enemies and pulling platforms etc. Solid work!
Nice idea, kinda reminds me of Enemy585 by Nitrome. Maybe for the next jam...
I applaud you for breaking the mold. What a great take on the theme. Truely an idea I know I would never have had. Great job
Unexpected gem 😉 Keep it up !
Hey I am really impressed in the game you put together here in only 10 days. The mechanics are fun and interesting and I think it fits the mechanical theme perfectly. Though I am less sure about how it fit's the Crossed Paths theme. Could you give a bit of context for that since I am curious
You can work out the path that the hero took through the level, so that fits the theme somewhat, also the player character is cross-shaped (it's a bit of a stretch). Thanks for checking out my game!
