It took me a couple of retries to eventually beat the game, and I stopped playing when I reached 9-1.

I like the animation of the enemies, they could probably be slightly more discernible from the background but it's fine, you quickly get to have aboslutely no problem distinguish them. The game controls well, the different upgrades are really satisfying, and the difficulty of the game is right on point, I like that it ramps up in the second biome compared to the first one.

Cool game, thanks for sharing.

This was interesting from an aesthetic standpoint. Otherwise, relatively generic, but that's not a bad thing.

So, I'm not sure if my potato laptop is just slow or if the bullets are slow, but I won't rate since I am not sure. I don't wanna have the wrong idea and push the game back for that

I made a game, also a bullet hell haha, two years ago with the game play loop centered around upgrading your character while also progressing, and I absolutely love the implementation here!! The art is also really great!

Whoa, what a trip! Loved the bizarro art-style, and the enemies that look like they are pushing out of the fabric of reality. The shooting mechanics were solid, and I loved the upgrade progression. I got to the point that I was just covering the screen in a layer of bouncing bullets and felt like a god! My only complaint is that there was significant slow-down in the webgl version, but I am sure that wouldn't be nearly as bad in the local version. Overall, really impressive work!

I love these kinda games! I will say the visuals were pretty hard to see. The enemies blend in with the map and I lost the cursor on multiple occasions. Great overall!

aaaaaaaaaaaa it hurts my eyes

i have no idea what the hell i've just played, but man, that was sick! art style is very trippy, as well as everything, but it was kinda satisfying

Submitted(+1)

Yo this was sick. The art style was hella cool but kind of hard to find where enemies and player was but that kinda added to it. Feel very tripped out. Gameplay is nice the upgrades add depths. Cool game

The art style is super cool and i love the enemy designs. got hooked too by the upgrade loop. Very fun game. I think the floor could be darkened a bit just to give more contrast between the environment and the enemies and the contact damage needs iframes because getting touched by an enemy absolutely drains your health but really enjoyed checking it out!

the visual is so surreal. it becomes its own style and i kinda feel it will be something interseting if keep developing. i look forward to it. is it for the "limit" theme? that you only use shader for everything.  is the music procedural generated too? unfortunately the music is less joyful for me

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

How did you guess I only used shaders haha?
No, the reason is because I don't really like using image assets (and I'm bad at drawing and art), and prefer to model and animate stuff with shaders procedurally!
Music is not procedural, but has been really rushed towards the end, sorry about that!

Thanks for playing and giving me feedback!

So cool. 👍 Nice work.

This has the most interesting graphics. Please add more biomes, I just want to see what else you can do with the backgrounds and enemies!

Developer

Thank you for your interest!
I'll try to tweak everything, and add new stuff (shorter biomes also) after the voting period, thanks for giving me the motivation :)

Wow! I really enjoyed the look of the game, I did find it a bit hard to see the enemies though because they blended a bit into the background.

Seriously though, my jaw dropped when I saw how the game looks, it's really cool

Developer

Thanks!
Yeah, there's definitely something to be done with the colors, I need to tweak them a little more haha

Pretty interesting concept. I actually like that it is difficult to see the creatures unless they are moving. Very nice idea

Really fun!

I especially love the intricate and otherworldly design of the creatures  and textures, while the upgrade mechanic and progressive difficulty make for some really addictive gameplay.

Excellent job:)

Thank you :)
