Congrats on submitting your game!

Super unique yet simple concept. Perfect for a jam game. I appreciated the difficulty curve - felt fair but still kept a good pace so things never get repetitive. The addition of non-d6 pip configurations was another nice touch. You've got the digital space, so why not mess with that and see where your concept takes you.

I couldn't get past angry eyes, but I was curious to see if there was an 'end' or at least another phase. But I'm bad at this game lol.

The sprite's legs were a bit of a weird one for me. Missing that bottom line of dark pixels made it sometimes read as 4 little legs, but I think they were supposed to be solid legs? It's a minor thing, but the contrast caught my eye a lot. Did dark pixels at the bottom of the feet interact poorly with the die pips?

Overall, nice controls, great presentation. Well done. Keep making cool games!

Thanks for the feedback. The character does have two legs actually lol. There was also a solid dark line under both his legs, but I felt it didn't really look nice tbh. This way it aids in the 2.5D effect lol.

Either way though, thank you for the feedback and for playing :)

Love the play on dices and using the dots creatively!

Niiiiicccceeeee.  I had fun playing, and I think you did a great job.

Very fun game, a bit too hard with the tight timer. Good concept and good execution

Amazing idea, and really good mood with the eyes and the overall art style. It's also really fun. Great game !

I believe the timer is always the same ? IMO it would be nice if it were based on how much dots you have to toggle. Also I think I would have prefered to have a visual indication of where the dots are exactly (at any time).

It was a lovely experience! I adore how you approached the theme of the jam, and it was so fun to play. I wish there was more audio-wise, but the polish elements were good enough to make the game stand out!

Excellent entry!

Really nice little gameloop and very well polished.

I loved this concept! The artwork is amazing, and the gameplay is balanced!

It's hard, but it's interesting! Visual is also pretty nice! I like it :D

I tried hard to beat the game but its very difficult. Very simple but enjoyable. Great game for a jam ^^

pretty good concept. it's just a bit too hard.

Submitted(+1)

Great idea, visuals and sounds, but too hard for me 😅

Submitted(+1)

It's a very original concept, maybe a bit hard right from the beginning, but the idea is very interesting.

It is fun concept, but also is too hard almost from the beginning. The shooters give a player little chance to do the mission. Surprise was a random standing of the dots, for the first time I thought there were only classic dice numbers. :)

The games is a bit too difficult right from the start. In terms of balancing I'd suggest:

  • Dice that are thrown at you are a bit too big and really hard to avoid, I guess you could make them smaller at the beginning and scale them up as time progresses.
  • You should probably add some tolerance to stomping mechanic. It's really frustrating when I'm a few pixels away from the desired area and stomping isn't detected.
  • Maybe use the difference in dots and overlap of dots between next dice pattern and current pattern to determine how difficult it is. So maybe have it so that at the beginning next pattern requires 3 changes compared to the current one. I sometimes got a pattern that basically required me to stomp almost all places on a dice which is too difficult, especially when combined with bullet dice that you need to avoid.

Other than that sound effects and art style are nice, and this is a very unique concept non the less. Good job!

I'll keep this in mind. Thank you for playing :)

Simple, fun and hard... That's what we need here +)
For some reason I want to try again and again, even when I know I screwed already and dont have time - still trying to "get there" and then trying again in next game. That's... interesting, for such small concept. I thing this is not just becouse of it's simplisity, but also because visual is good and simple, and controls are feels good too - you just focusing on retying and nothing is holding you back from it.
Very well made!

Super Fun!

Nice use of the theme! I really like the visuals. It takes some time to get in the flow, but after that it is very enjoyable.

Enjoyable, but so hard!
