Very nice! I get flashbacks to the old Micro Machines game from the tank graphics.

Unfortunately I havn't really had the possibility to use my computer much these last two weeks and the game doesn't work on the phone. I have been able to watch Yanni and Zach play though.

The game is really well made. The shadows that hide corridors the the tank moves around a corner is very cool, but Perhaps it would look smoother if the efter wasn't so Sharp.

I hooked my Xbox controller up to my iPhone and it works perfectly! Only issue is all menu commands are touch. Try it out and let me know if that works for you!

Nice puzzles and a fun game to play.

Only issue i had was that the bouncing balls was hard to bounce as i wanted.

Developer

Thanks!!! Yeah, I wasn’t sure what the deal with that was. I just created a circular bullet and didn’t tweak any Unity physics. The angles didn’t bounce as you thought they would.

Tough to find issue with this game... I just want more levels! Really enjoyed the puzzle aspect of this game. For a game jam game I think it was the perfect length to keep interest. Minor improvements really only relate to features that could be added to take it to the next level and were mentioned by others. Great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the kind works! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Very tight and well done core mechanics and level design. The interesting core mechanic was explored to its full potential and had some really satisfying moments. Would have liked to see an actual bullet or shell for the projectile to match the rest of the games wonderful graphics.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah, originally one of the devs set up a particle effect for the bullet, but when we needed to add a collider to it and when we switched it to the square we forgot all about it.

Love a good tank game! Really impressed with you adding controller support. Not sure why my aim wouldnt work

Tanks for playing! :P I just used the new input system which makes is simple to add controller support. I tested it with an Xbox controller hooked up to my mac and it worked with both the mac build as well as HTML using Chrome. Thanks for the stream!

Developer(+1)

Oh and I needed to add a default value for the controller to select for the menu. Otherwise you have to use the mouse for the menu even with the controller connected.

Some really nice puzzle design! I think you all have done a really nice job of taking some simple mechanics and producing some interesting puzzles from this simplicity. I genuinely had fun playing this. I liked when the levels started having all the conveyors, I thought that started to get quite interesting.

The early levels do a good job of teaching you the mechanics. Controls are simple and intuitive. Music, SFX, and atmosphere are all consistent and work with each other. And the homage at the end is fun.

I'm honestly having trouble coming up with constructive criticism - most suggestions I can think of are just like adding more worldbuilding, more puzzles, leaderboard, multiplayer...just adding more features haha. Really solid job.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing it and I'm glad you enjoyed it! As soon as we finished it we wished we had put in a leaderboard. You guys had a great leaderboard in your game. Which reminds me, I need to bump myself up a few spots soon!

Very cool game, great sounds, chill tune, and very neat implementation of the theme. I really loved that one level, you flick the toggle and thinking you're right at the finish, and then everything changed.

Developer

Thanks! We originally were talking about rotating the screen for the environment change, but then Alex had the idea to switch between two tile-maps and I immediately knew it was a game changer... Literally! :)

This was a really fun game, and fit the theme so well! Solving each puzzle definitely felt satisfying to me (although I got a little frustrated on level 8 because I knew how to solve it, but execution was keeping me stuck for a while). It had a consistent visual theme, and the bounce shot homage was wonderful. Great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing it! It was fun to make and some of the guys are great at level design. Me not so much, my level was the BounceShot one! 😂

I love this game. I've finished it in 5 minutes :D I can't wait for the Toggle Tanks 2! Also, I really like the sounds and music. They gave me a sense of peace, and its volume was adequate.

Developer(+1)

Great! I’m glad you liked it! Glad to hear the volume was at a good level. I talked about adding a slider but got too lazy at the end to do it.

Developer(+2)

I keep vibing to the music! The team did a great job with it.

I really like this game it's fun!! Level 2 took me a minute to figure out haha.. will be playing again soon I'm sure! :)

Developer

Glad you liked it and thanks for playing! Feel free to bring up something that didn’t work well or any improvements that could be made if you play again. Thanks!

Absolutely fantastic game! Loved the level design and the progressively more difficult puzzle. Very in theme. Loved the BounceShot reference lol. All around good work. If i had to critique it'd be that the smaller puzzle levels work better (in my opinion) than the larger maze like levels. The feel was nice (like how the tank squishes when you fire) and the variety of levels were really good.

Good job! I'd rate it a five if I could lol.

Developer

Great feedback! I agree with the puzzle size. That being said my only puzzle was the last one and one of the biggest. Haha. I wanted it to be smaller, but had done a AI that needed a bit of space to work. Luckily the other guys made better levels.

This was a very cool game... the kind of game I would play non stop if you could procedurally generate levels!

Developer

Awesome, thanks for playing and I’m glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I gotta learn how to do that some time. Sure would be fun having a ton of levels.
