I like the graphics and atmosphere! Was mostly missing some sounds and music. Good luck with the project!!

  • Are any games too easy or too hard?

I think they're all fine, depends on what you want to achieve with them. Maybe the hidden ball game was too easy, and the lion whipping.

  • Are the rules easy to understand?

Yes

  • Do you think any game needs better feedback?

I didn't like the coin dropping much. It's a bit slow and I associate it more with gambling than with fun/activity

  • What was the most frustrating moment you experienced?

I couldn't get into the tent with the baloon dog (but that was probably intentional?), and with the ball game I lost a life even though the bottles were still moving and eventually fell (and then I got my life back).

  • What was your favorite part of the game?

I like the bloody ball during the ball throwing, that was one of the only spooky things in this level.

  • Was there anything you wanted to do, but the game didn’t let you?

No, but it was quite a limited level. Maybe use items from one game in a different game just to mess around.

  • If you you could make a wish and change, add, or remove anything from the experience, what would it be?

I would love some sounds, and maybe some music. The menu was the only thing with a sound, which was a bit sharp for my taste, and then there were flies zooming at some point.

  • What would you say you were doing in the game?

Progressing through a carnival with different mini games, while the atmosphere was a bit spooky and mysterious

  • How would you describe the game to friends and family

Spooky 3d puzzle horror game with carnival/circus theme and retro graphics

Was really hooked! Great puzzle game and actually quite challenging at times! Especially the last level of zone 1 took me quite a while. I never tried the Hints feature though. I got to 2-3, but was tempted to go on! Cheers

I love the atmosphere and story concept, as far as I understood it. It makes sense that it's mysterious, but it might a bit too unclear, at least for me, what to do at the start and what it means interacting with all the guards/soldiers. After a while I realized I had to go under the tree to continue. I think the camera is just a bit too close to get a good overview of the map and where to go, but it might also be my inexperience. Jumping felt OK, I manage to do some platforming. At some point I crossed a kind of hanging bridge that rotates, then there's a part where it seems like I should climb on the vines on the wall, and go sideways, but I couldn't :(, then I fell, but that was ok. It felt a bit weird. Hope you can get it a bit smoother and clearer, then I think it can be very atmospheric and fun! Good luck!

Really satisfying and cool game! Very easy to pick up, and I can imagine can get quite difficult and complicated with upgrades and levels and different enemies. I felt quite strong and the player is really fast, so I did not think it was very challenging (at least not yet, I played about 15-20 min). Maybe you prefer it like this to have it be more arcade-y, and a bit like Vampire Survivors in terms of ramping up difficulty and choosing upgrades? Good luck with the project!

I love the concept! I think for a 2-week prototype there's enough to see the idea and try the mechanics. It requires a certain kind of patience and timing, and with just a bit more streamlining, juice, and variation it can be really cool! Are you thinking of implementing more quantum mechanics or particle phyisics-based gameplay elements? Cheers

Very stylish and polished. I like that you get random skills and can combine them sometimes. The combat was a bit messy and chaotic in my opinion; I could't tell what was hitting me from where sometimes, I did not know I had dodge roll at first (I don't think it was introduced) and also don't know if it makes me invulnerable or not? I would have appreciated it if combat builded up a bit slower. Some moments, in the start and menu and after death, feel a bit slow. Good luck! I think with some improvements in the combat, it can be really awesome!

(1 edit)

Hey nice game, I like the chatting generally, but I did not like or understand the mechanics; the timers for some options kept going down and stayed low even after choosing a different option, and often I tried clicking the letters with my controller, and they were not registering, because I needed to reset or something. It felt unintuitive and frustrating to be honest, because at other times I could just kept on clicking. If I fail one, it should just reset, so I don't lose time clicking reset or whatever the other 2 options are. If something is time based, best is not to have too many options with text and different buttons if you don't need to. But this could definitely be cute and cozy, don't see yet how timed-based precision matches with that vibe tho, maybe it's just not for me. Good luck!! EDIT: lastly, I think music and sounds can help a lot to make this feel more fun and juicy

I like the detective work, but as TryHardStudio pointed out, I failed to find the logic in the cases, and the 3rd one I couldn't solve despite my best attempts. I think an important thing missing is getting some idea of how many scenes are still missing, or how many scenes some characters have. I like the mechanic though, and the genre is great, I think the fun can be there with a bit more consistency and juice (some UI completion feeling). Good luck!!

Thank you you so much for playing and all the feedback! I'm sorry about the bugs, I think I have them fixed now (not uploaded yet tho). Thank you for the useful feedback on what could improve. Indeed the spikey black pits are a bit of a pain to get the trigger range just right. I'll look to improve it. Cheers

Cool idea and nice art! I found it very difficult to control the aiming, and had a sense it was a bit buggy; sometimes it would be really slow to respond, sometimes faster. I think with a little bit more juice on that (some extra sound + clear animation) I think it would help a lot. In the level with the radio tower, I was helpless, until I had cover behind a barrel; for some reason I could snipe all the dudes while in cover, and they couldn't hit me; maybe this is a bug? I thought in cover I can't hit anyone. Lastly, I thought, maybe it could make sense to cover but still throw nades/molotov, but I think that's impossible? Nice job and good luck!!

Really neat pixel art silly racing game. I didn't get it at all at the first time, but second time I got 1st! Still, I have no clue what all the power-ups and status-effects (fire, water) do, except roughly speeding or slowing me. I know one gives a bar with a lightning symbol, but I couldn't decipher. Also one makes a sound, but again I was clueless. Maybe some small icons above the character can tell more? Or some pop-up 'IGNITED' or 'SPLASHED - SLOWER TURNS' or whatever it does, will help a lot I think! Great job and good luck!!

Interesting concept and very nicely made! I liked the music, the sounds and the UI. However, I was mostly looking at my keyboard to type the correct numbers, so I wouldn't really see what's going on and what the health bars were at; I just focussed on solving the math as quickly as I could. Perhaps if the intervals between casts was longer I'd have time for that, or if you get 6 possible answers and you have to quickly (with a timer?) select the correct one; then you can stay looking at the screen.

Great job with this game. I loved the concept, the setting, the sounds and the music. It gave a really tense feeling. Then controls did not work so well for me; at some point I kept accidentally making blocks where I wanted to just jump; maybe my mouse is broken.

Very cool game, great sounds, chill tune, and very neat implementation of the theme. I really loved that one level, you flick the toggle and thinking you're right at the finish, and then everything changed.

You made this all by yourself? I think it's very impressive. The art, the style, the music, and effects look very cool. Sad that you got stuck, but shit happens:)
