Nice Game, would have loved to see some animations with either character idles or the truck slightly turning when turning.

Deleting the obstacles when they hit a collider behind the truck with a simple script would help and having the wall colliders attatched to the camera or a game object that is attatched to the camera would help prevent the character flying through the sidewalks.

My friends loved this game and I cant wait to see what you make next!

Thank you for taking the time to play my game! ♥ I appreciate the feedback too!

Yeah, I actually tried to add a little more animations and I broke things miserably and had to roll back LOL. I actually tried to Destroy the stuff behind but I'm not sure how to do that yet. I tried deleting the first object in the array but apparently, Unity gives you a very serious warning to not do that haha. I'll figure it out eventually :D

Nice game,  truck movement was a bit off as it crashed me into something out of no were but great submission :)

Things I liked:

-Playing into this trope and having fun with it, taking a unique spin on the theme

-Music was great along with the voice lines - lots of polish in this game!

Things to improve:

-Variety in voice lines when "collecting" heroes

-sometimes the truck moves on its own which causes it to crash

-more forgiveness on the truck collider. Sometimes it did not feel like I had made a mistake, but the game still punished me

Overall:

Awesome take on the theme to make a fun high scoring game! Good work, especially for your first game jam! Fantastic work!!

Thank you for taking the time to play my game! ♥ I appreciate the feedback too since it helps me learn! :D

I'm glad you enjoyed my last minute voice acting haha. I actually only learned how to add sound in the last 2 hours! You know it's good you said that with the truck collider, I actually made the collider on the truck way smaller (it's about half the truck!) but I'm realizing now I think how I had the obstacle collider setup makes it have less leeway than it should. I'll have to give it some thought/learn more so I can fix it.

Cute game, nice visuals. I didn't get as far as the lag because I'm a terrible driver. I did find the camera angle to be disorienting and a little nauseating but the voice work was great.

I'm pleased to see yet another cultured fellow who appreciates the isekai truck troupe.

A very simple game, but other than the performance issue, the voice acting is funny and the game is generally well-made. The truck parody is of course appreciated.

TLDR; having brightly-colored hair is dangerous in anime world. Good job!

Thanks for the game. Fun little game. Congrats on the submission.

Cute voice acting and funny concept. The game lags hard as the game progress, might be issue with coding, try object pooling system. I was hoping to see some funky rag doll physics when the truck hits the girls or objects. But all in all, good job.

Very nice, also I think you're right about object pooling being the thing to research for this issue. Also I didn't mind bouncing off the curb, it felt like a fair penalty and also just like losing control of the truck after hitting something :P Good work!

Finally some anime :D

I had a chuckle with the "Isekai-ed" bit.

Very cute and funny!  Nice work with the menu screen and assembling all the buildings and props!
