I like the number 4

Developer

Haha, thanks for your feedback! :D

Really cool idea here, I liked the little people jumping on the controls! Though you already know from other comments that this also did make it quite hard to control with such a delay, maybe if you reduced the numer of pits to jump over and instead had floating platforms to jump on that would reduce this being a problem. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing our game and giving your feedback! Yeah, we'll try to improve the game with all these data received from the reviews. That was our first game jam and we're happy with the results! :D

You had the same Idea than me! :)

But your game has a huge delay to jump, that makes it very difficult to play. :/

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! I loved that ideia too :D Congratz. 'Bout that delay i'll fix that on the next build. Ty again, man! =D

I'm with Blue_Giant, i love the art and the concept is really great but the delay sadly made timing the jump nearly impossible. With the jump fixed I think it would make for a really great game!

Developer

Thanks! I'll fix that  on the next build.  Glad you liked it ! =D

It Take 4our Ups and Downs

Ups:

  • Graphics are really good
  • The concept is very original

Downs:

  • The game is extremely difficult, mainly due to the fact that controlling a controller that controls the character essentially made it basically feel like I was controlling the character with a big delay. This made timing jumps properly really hard
  • This a minor bug, but at the start of each run of the game, the character would jump without me pressing anything

Overall, a unique but extremely hard game

Developer

Ty for the feedback! :D Glad you enjoyed our arts and concept ^^

The hardest game I've found here so far, but fun to play

Cool man!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Haha i think it's a bit too hard after all those reviews but i'm happy that you enjoyed! :D

Yeah, it really takes hours. The way  to play is so unique.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Hope you enjoyed our game!

Probably one of the best takes on the theme I've seen. The game itself is very hard though, and as mentioned by others, the quick acceleration and button delay make it extremely challenging and a bit frustrating. The visuals and audio are very solid. A few changes and perhaps more playtesting to polish the mechanics would make it an absolutely awesome game.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Glad you liked it! We'll try to improve the game with all those reviews ! Ty again!

Thanks for you feedback! =D

The concept is fantastic but the execution could have used some tweaking. I understand that the little guy working the controller exists in physical space and needs to jump on the buttons but the delay introduced because of that makes this game way less playable than it otherwise could be. That and the fact that the character being controlled accelerates way too much. In fact they shouldn’t accelerate at all and I’m wondering if this is a framerate related issue (I am using a 144hz monitor).

Overall though this is one of the most creative entries for this jam and I really enjoyed.

Developer

I'm happy that you enjoyed our game. Thanks for you feedback and tips, i'll find out about this acceleration and minimize it. I tried to reduce the delay at jumping system but i guess it wasn't enough, though. Thanks again for your review!

Submitted

If the acceleration was unintended I would check and see if movement is being calculated correctly over the delta time of which ever game engine you’re using

Developer

I put some acceleration but shouldn't be too much, probably just capping the max speed will do the tick... Ty

ah yeah that makes sense. no prob.

This game is great. I love the idea. It's just too hard to start with. I think the gaps should be smaller at the beginning, so there is a learning curve. The graphics and the audio are good too. overall it's a great game

Developer

Thanks for you feedback. I'll try to improve the level design and give it a better learning curve. Ty a lot man.

I tried as best I could but gave up on platform three, the jump delay is too huge.

Developer(+1)

We're happy with your feedback. I'm working on that jumping delay. Thanks for playing our game.

The gravity is just too high, when I press jump i feel like I get sucked down to the ground way to fast, which makes it super difficult to make the jumps. Took me about 10minutes to clear the first jump, after which I had 3 more gaps to make, in addition with the "enemies" pushing me around making it even harder, I just gave up. I would recommend you making the game way easier by fixing these things. Otherwise the concept is really cool. I like that you control the characters controlling the controller instead of just controlling the character itself . The graphics are also good!

Developer

Ty for the feedback. I'll try to fix those things. Thanks again, man!

It's good but the controls are kinda hard to grasp

Developer

Thx for the feedback! I'll find a way to make them more clear.

Submitted(+1)

Cool idea! But jumping could be a bit easier.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! I'll try to improve that jumping system.

its good, but the delay on the jump is just unfair

Developer

Appreciated your feedback! After all those feedback I think jumping needs some fixing haha. Thanks!
