Pretty cute, conceptually funny game that took a surprising amount of effort to beat on normal. The main thing I'd suggest here is a more robust input buffering system that handles corner turns better. Right now it's too easy to cancel your first input with your second (e.g. hitting down then left results in you just going left).

How does your game fit the theme "Unconventional Means"?
The game is based around the game Snake. But instead of growing your snake bigger, the goal is to get smaller which is pretty unconventional.

It's a cool idea and a fun game! But the controls are not working very well, sometimes I try to go down and right and it only goes right... sometimes it looks to one direction, but don't go there. It seems like it's drifting instead of turning.
Really fun and original, I haven't been able to complete the easy difficulty yet, but sure I will.
Good job!
Difficult. but it definitely is pretty unconventional to try to get smaller
I liked the idea of this one xD The art was nice and was fun too! -great job! :D
I liked a very funny and original game. The only thing that I didn’t like was not to turn from the cell on which the head is located.
Cool game - I could not get my snake short enough, im a terrible gamer!

It has some issues though. I’m not sure what the difficulty settings are actually doing cuz the game is hard for the following reasons. Firstly, the grid based movement system might be too fast for its own good. The visuals dont always update in time for me to make accurate changes in direction. At times ill press and arrow key and the snake will turn a couple grid spaces beyond where I told it to turn. Secondly the snake is unbearably long. I think it should overall be reduced in size by half, or the levels should increase in size by a lot. Lastly, the snake should not be able to turn backwards onto itself. That just causes unecessary headaches when playing especially given my first point earlier.
Overall this is a very clever game and I very much enjoyed playing it despite its short comings. Great work!
