Pretty cool game. I played it tonight on my livestream if you want you can see the replay below. I did find a pretty annoying bug though, you should lock the mouse cursor when you make a game like this where you hide the cursor. It keeps going off the monitor to my left or right monitor while playing because it is not locked so when i click it then takes me out of the game and got quite annoying. Very easy fix though. You can see the live stream below. Good job.

solid game, and great visuals! controls are also good. I expected the flashlight light to be moving with flashlight itself, but this is a solid base game. Did you set this for a full screen mode btw? I have 2 monitors and my mouse kept going out of the game onto my other screen while moving around.
Solid submission. More audio would be nice, but other than that, it's pretty good.
The randomness of the crystals takes away the strategy of selecting them. Could use some differentiation. For example, a good crystal is usually hidden behind a trap. The bad crystal is easily accessible. Then I have to decide - to sacrifice one life but have a chance to get a good crystal, or to risk that an easily accessible crystal will give me some ugly effect.
If you add some strategy it can be a very interesting game, because the foundation is already promising :)
Nice atmosphere, cool visuals and huge dungeon! I was not able to find out, but collected 40+ something crystals :D Controls are ok, I liked the random buffs you get from the crystals it spiced things up a bit. Unfortunately for my not so common 21:9 display the game UI didn't scale well so i was guessing my remaining lifes etc. For beginners this is huge project to do in two weeks but you did it anyway. Don't stop, continue developing :) Congrats!
You guys did a great job for being a couple of beginners! I love the mood that you set with the darkness and having to use a flashlight. The music added to the spooky/creepy feel. I think maybe it would be a little better if the maze were shorter and there were more distinct areas. That would make it a little easier to tell when you get turned around.
Overall, wonderful job!
Well made and cleanly executed! Good job! I got around 28(?) crystals before I got lost and couldn't find anymore. I'm not sure if there's an actual ending or not. The controls felt good (when not under the slow effect), but my mouse kept going off game and click stuff on my other screen. The full screen export shouldn't be borderless window (I think that's the setting name?). The atmosphere was really nice here with a good use of dark darks and light lights, creating great contrast and mood. Well done :)
Really good maze game, I liked the atmosphere and the concept.
Couple of points, the mouse cursor not being locked really put me off... it is lucky I am stubbourn and wanted to complete it!
Also the slow boost was just annoying as nothing was chasing me it just seemed pointless imo.
Otherwise great job, really good game for a 2 week jam. :)
Hell yeah!
Money, Island and party.
Nice atmosphere! the dungeon kind of music feets perfect the scenario, only thing that bothered me was the slowing down effect when get some crystals, I didn't understand with there were a way to see if the crystal is good or bad. lol
Nice game!
Yeah there isnt really a way to differentiate because its supposed to be like you have to choose cautiously if u want the crystals or not because they can be either good or bad and the main goal of the game is to get rich and escape the dungeon so yeah.... we did decide we wanted that as feature to differentiate but time constraints ;/
so we decided to leave it and instead polish
Thanks for playing the game and hope you enjoyed it !
Awesome atmosphere and map design. Nice and smooth controls. Very well done. Dont know if you intended it but i noticed the torch will only recharge if totally flat. If you turn it off yourself it doesnt recharge. If thats what you intended then its working perfect. Great job.
Thanks man! we were nervous abt the controls and map design but it seems that people like it , thanks for playing the game . About that flashlight bug.. its not really a bug it was intended like that because in the time constraint i couldnt figure out how to make it so that the bar went up whenever the flashlight turned off.. that was the original idea but because of time constraint we left it..
Nice scary dungeon concept, kept expecting something to jump out on me :D.
One minor bug with the fire passing through a wall at one point :D.
Couldn't play for to long as that format messes up my head, but moving around was fine, and the environment/art matched the music and atmosphere well.
Might need to tick loop music though, it ran out :D.
Well done :)
Thanks for playing it! if you are referencing the fire going through the wall in the video link you sent im pretty sure theres a gap there but it feels like the fires going through the wall in the dark
I ticked the loop and will upload it now lol
But thanks for playing the game once again, hope you enjoyed it !
