level design is very unique and fun, music is calm and I like that, well done!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player need help from its friends to pass through the obstacles, and every friend do one different thing.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code and did almost all assets. The only assets i didnt make were the audio ones (Music and sound effects)

Liked the music. Lever switch was only working when moving :/ But other than that good job.
Really good game, loved the music and the puzzles were fun to complete. Good job!
Good idea to develop on, however it's easy to get softlocked at some points. Some kind of checkpoint would have been appreciated. Apart from that, great job!
Really loved the game and level design. But the movement was a bit stiff and lever pulling was somewhat difficult as I had to press multiple times in order to activate it. You could actually make it a bit better by using some function which gets called as long as player is in lever’s proximity, like OnTriggerStay(). P.S. - I think vector art will really suit this game(since you are good with raster graphics..) :)
Ohh really fun take on the game jam theme. This is a very smart game. I especially enjoyed the characters. It's always good to see games with characters with personality and you really hit that ball out of the park. Enjoyed it loads. We tried integrating characters into our game too so do come over and rate ours as well ^_^
Calm Pan is the coolest of all! Love the design of the level and the personality you gave to the 3 friends. Very nice puzzle design too. Works perfectly.
Great game! Congratulations!
Great job! The levers were a bit annoying to try to activate, and I had a glitch where I got near a hole and all game controls stopped responding, even reset, but I got out of it by clicking on another character. Otherwise I really liked the mechanic of switching between the different characters and I liked their return function.
So good, loved the dynamic of each character. Great intros too. This was a blast to play, I just thought that the gameplay felt a little slow to me, I still enjoyed it! Great job
Really adorable game with some pretty cute little friends. But I believe big roadblock is also a friend. How would you ever cross inconvenient holes without him? Collisions were a bit off now and then I would always get confused why my friends would stop following. But great work with the pistons and the personalities. Good game all around!
This was amazing! This has the potential to be supppppper awesome. I know that you had some obstacles but 3days to make the game is still pretty cool! I rated yours! :D
This was a very fun and relaxing games. I also laughed when I crushed Little Bib with a boulder by accident because I didn't know there was a death mechanic. I also really liked the character descriptions. I know this sounds weird but they reminded me of the old backs of cheez its boxes where they gave a description of the flavor by saying like the spicy cheese only takes limos.
This game would have some more stages, with some storytelling that would explain more about the characters. Unfortunatly i didnt had that much time (My mother got sick) and no acess to internet the whole week, so i ended up taking 3 days to develop an grid-based physics system from scratch. Oh yeah, in your game you have a pushing system in a grid, how did you make it?
Basically, I just moved the player across the tilemaps by weird intervals like 1.5 and 0.5. An easier way of doing it is just .worldtoCell() with the tilemap
For the boxes, I stored them in a dictionary and then I checked if a box was on the tile by providing a Vector3 key. I then got each box by just continuing to go one up until there wasn't a box there. I then took that array, reversed it because the dictionary got mad because of duplicate keys. moved the boxes, and changed the keys to match the new positions by just creating new entries in the dictionary. If you want, I can post the code on GitHub.
Cool game but sometimes the buttons and levers don't work.
P.S. I would really appreciate it if you check out my game.
I soft lock myself ... The game is good but I think you have to let the player experience rather than him exactly what to do.
Rate my game if you have time : https://abel-graux.itch.io/hacker-man
