I really like the game! The character design was nice and simplistic though the palette was nice and I would've liked to see it used it more place, the music was nice and soothing but made me feel like I was working towards something, and I really liked the sound effects, shooting felt nice, and the theme was used very well though it did get quite difficult at the end, though, who doesn't love a good challenge, great submission, and I hope to see you in future jams!

Developer

Thank you! Sadly ( or not ), not even likes hard games. I should have made it easier. What do you mean by "would've liked to see it used it more place,"? Do you mean you would have liked seeing me use more red? Thanks for playing.

Submitted(+1)

Yep, I liked how the green and red contrasted, and you’re character design was really good, a slime enemy with some red accents would look cool.

Screenshakes, enemies blinking when they're hit, sound design: The game feel is really good!

I think you could add more complexity to the gameplay because it becomes a bit repetitive after a while. Maybe try adding different enemy type or power-ups for the player!

The game gets quite hard toward the end and I nearly ragequit when a slime destroyed my rocket at 1900 points.

I beat it anyway tho:

Developer(+1)

I also said "I beat it anyway tho:" to your game lol. I think a slime shooter enemy would be cool but it'd lead to a lot of deaths by the slime shooter enemy shooting the rocket. Thanks for playing.

Really cool game! the shrinking space takes me back to my PUBG times, the visuals are simple but cute and fitting, the colour pallet works well too, and the gameplay is simple but catchy. I'd maybe zoom the camera out a bit to see the whole circle, and maybe speed the bullets up, but that's just personal preference.

Well done man, congratulations on finishing the jam!!

Developer

Hello.

I think I should have made the camera show a bit more, but I like the speed of the bullets the way it is.

Thanks for playing.

Thank you!  The circle is just a small circle that starts with a big scale. I can't do this the other way arround ( the normal one is big ) since it messes with collider when the circle becomes smaller.

Wow! Neat idea you have here! Kind of like Fortnite and the shrinking circle. I'll have to come back and play with a mouse. It was crazy hard with a trackpad lol. But the idea is genius and very straightforward. I'll have to shrink that circle as small as I can to see if I can win. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Well, I'm pretty sure it is almost Impossible with a trackpad lol. Thanks for playing!

If you change it from Brotli to Gzip, it fixes that 90% thing w/o it being a developer build. Also nice solid overall game. Maybe if you could make it so I could hold down shoot instead of tapping is a suggestion.

Developer

Hello.

The game becomes too easy if you can hold it in my opinion. I do not understand what you mean by "If you change it from Brotli to Gzip, it fixes that 90% thing w/o it being a developer build." . Thanks for playing tho.

Submitted(+1)

"( PS: Sorry about this being a development build. The loading screen would get stuck at 90% if it was not a development build )" You said this, if you go to publication settings, and change the format from Brotli to Gzip, you don't have to convert your build to a developer build. Just a tip for next time.

Developer

I did indeed. I had no idea Brotli and Gzip was a thing in the publication settings then lol ( Sorry )

Cool game enjoyed it! (could you check out my game please)

Developer

As long as it is for HTML5, sure thing.

Cool game.  Loved the decreasing size of the circle and movement space.  Pretty decent top-down shooter overall.  Good job!

Developer

Thank you!

  • Theme: Yeah. the space felt limited in the circle.
  • Audio: Nice. i miss the audio for the slimes.
  • Visuals: Could have something for the slimes.
  • Gameplay: Good.

Congratulations on the game.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you. You mean like an audio for slime walking?

Edit: what do you mean by "Could have something for the slimes"?

Submitted(+1)

Yeah. Maybe a "poing" effect or an audio of something  "dragging". Because the number of slimes increase, so we might know by the sound.

And for the visuals, like a particle or a trail or even any kind of UI information. But that's optional and my own opnion.

Cheers.

Developer(+1)

Ohhh that's a good idea.

This is a fun little arcade game! To fix the loading problem you want to go into project setting ==> player ==> publishing setting ==> and change the compression format to disabled! If you are still confused I can explain it a bit better!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for telling me! Will try changing when the Jam finishes*!

I indeed submitted the game a Day* before the deadline, but I'm a student and thought I'd have no time Monday. I did and ended up fixing some glitches and added some nice QoL.

The game has a nice concept. I like the art (the filtering could be improved though) and perhaps giving the player more lives would improve the experience.

But overall, nice game!

(And if you had the time could you play my submission)

Developer (1 edit)

Aprecciate that! Yeah... The game might be too difficult. I already played your game tho and got stuck* in level 2, as I had no Idea where the flag was lol

Nice game. I dont really have anything to say because I didnt find any bugs or anything I disliked. So good job.

Can you try my game?

Developer

Aprecciate that! Sure thing. As long as your game is HTML5/ WebGL I'll play it. If it isn't, you should have made it.

Submitted(+1)

It is in HTML5.
