This is a very unique entry, nice gameplay and good polish! Great job!

Really fun game. The controls never really became natural to me but with some active thinking about what I wanted to do I could get it done. Great concept and the levels felt quite well designed. Also, good polish for a jam game

Really fun gameplay and helped me to fulfill my lifelong dream of being a vine that flies across really well designed levels collecting animals and murdering farmers so thank you for that. Really fun game and the controls were difficult but really fun as was  intended. Really well done!

Haha I'm glad I could help your dream become a reality.

Really fun emergent gameplay from the physics and the grabbing mechanism!

Very nice. Lot's of potential. Thanks for adding gamepad support. I can tell you spent a lot of time with the controls. I think the controls & physics should be tweaked to make it easier and moving around more gratifying. Probably all it needs is some kind of ability to start a strong swing. I felt like my worm needed to hit the gym.

Thank you.
Momentum in the game was a little weird. Too much and he could fly and not enough and he couldn't even lift his arms.

I could see how it'd be difficult to balance. The snapping mechanism you implemented works well. Maybe it should be possible to press a button to do an extended snap, like a grappling hook almost (with those vine feelers).

It took some time to get used to the controllers, but when I did, I had a lot of fun with the wiggly movement, really cool game ! :)

Super cool! Took me a while to realize you actually did use the art pack.

I love the polish, except for the menus I wouldn't have guessed it was a jam game.

My only real suggestions would be to improve the menus and please add a 'zoom out' button or a way to look around.

The farmer looks like Rex from Xenoblade2. 10/10 would kill again (Oh! It could also be fun if you have to fling the farmer offstage or into spikes instead of just grabbing him)

Thank you!

A zoom feature is a really good idea. Since I made the levels, I knew where everything was and didn't think of it.

I like that you colored all the assets yourself, and nice parallaxing!

Wish I could have tried the co-op, but I liked the progression in difficulty, and great sound effects!

This reminds me alot of I Am Bread.

Very fun mechanic man! It's a bit difficult to get the hang of it but after a while it becomes easier.
Also your level designs helps alot^^.

Also didn't had the chance to coop but i'm sure this is a blast^^.

Good stuff!

This is a really cute idea. I had fun playing with it.

I wish the vine had been a bit stronger. There were places where it seemed like I could get up underneath platforms to catch upside down cows but even by swinging I wasn't able to get a hold on the underside. I think it would have been pretty fun to climb around on the ceiling. Maybe I just didn't get the swing right.

It was never clear to me what the expression changing mechanic did, or if it did anything at all.

It would have been nice to have a linux build. It ran under wine but without text because of a missing font.

I feel that the art style was crude enough to actually detract from the game. This is a neat concept and reasonably well polished as a game but it looks very amateurish.

Thank you for the feedback.
I'm surprised the font was missing since I just used Arial 😅

Wine is a very strange environment and fonts are often a problem. That's why it's nicer to have a native build.

Hello I just uploaded a WebGL build of my game. I'm not asking you to replay it but if you wouldn't mind checking if it looks different than the linux build?  I'm just curious if anything was missing like the text was.
Thanks

Works great! I see text and everything. Plus, this time I played with the keyboard rather than the gamepad and that seemed to resolve the issues with strength and swinging. I was easily able to climb onto the undersides of platforms. Maybe I was just doing something dumb before.

Thank you very much! I'm sure it was a lot harder without the text. Lesson learned.

It seems like having a web build up is a good idea regardless. I know people have been playing the web version of my entry far more than the desktop versions and it seems like entries with web versions are getting more feedback in general.

Wow, that was really high quality! Good work!

Most unique use of the assets ive seen yet. this is right up there with getting over it where its mostly painful but for some reason you cant stop playing good job!
