A game with a clever design. The color of Mr. Flower is the same as that of the opponents, which every now and then leads to mistakes. But not that it was necessary to cooperate: I reached 670 points, playing only as Miss Flame. Mister Flower got in the way.

Thanks for the game!
The idea to make flower vulnerable to your bullets is brilliant in conveying the idea of care. I only wish that it would reflect projectiles automatically, so I only think of its position and not timing. Taking care of both was a bit overwhelming to me. Artwork and sound design are of the highest quality, of course.
Very coll game! Addicting, funny and a little difficult to me XD. Really engaging! Also good take on the theme!
This is feels like such a simple concept and yet is such a tricky game! It's incredibly well done from the art to the sound. The tutorial at the very beginning is incredibly helpful and sets the player's expectations of the game right from the start. I completely agree with the folks who mentioned it feeling right at home in an arcade cabinet. The limited colors also make everything feel super clear which helps prevent the game from getting too overwhelming. This is awesome though, congrats!
One of my favorite games of the jam. Excellent little interactive instruction intro to put things together piece by piece. This is so well polished and really fun to play!
Thank you for the kind words! Originally, Mr. Flower was only a barrier that protected the player from backfire in the circular movement pattern, but when I realized that I wouldn't actually need to aim a shield and I could make it part of the controls, the pieces fit naturally!
I'm actually considering expanding it over the next months! I still love the concept a whole lot and don't feel I explored it as much as I wished to!
This game is soo good and cute.
Its a great game idea for the jams theme too.
I especially liked the tutorial ;)
wow, this is so much fun
great art, great use of colours, and great gameplay
I love the artstyle! It is surprising how much you can so with only 3 colours! However, the mouse position seems to be a bit off for me, so shooting was really hard for me. Overall, this is one of my favorite games!
Really nice use of dithering to get the most out of the limited palette! And the tutorial was concise showing me everything I needed without overstaying its welcome. My only real complaint is the Blue Flower's ability feels kinda lackluster. Maybe if the bullets he reflected became purple and hurt enemies, or he could push stuff back further to buy more time when surrounded.
Thank you for the feedback, PZ!
You can actually also push enemies back to give you more time! :) Flower pushes away anything that is blue!
In the later waves, there are some bullet patterns that actually require that you defend them properly, otherwise Miss Flame will not have a path she can go through! I tried to only make the player NEED the block a little bit later so that it wouldn't become too overwhelming for someone not used to shoot 'em ups! (Also on a later wave there are enemies with pink shields, that require a bullet to be reflected onto them first!)
The game looks good and the tutorial feels good but i can't really play it : the shot doesn't go where my mouse is. It looks like the angle my mouse is describing is shifted. I run the game in firefox.
Amazing game and it looks amazing, love the way you did the limited palette. The mechanic is great too.
I really like it. I think it has a steep learning curve in a good way. like when you feel accomplished from 'getting good'. In the future I would be interested in a way to make the ring move independently of rotation for an interesting change, probably as like a power-up.
This is such an amazing concept! For some reason it is really hard for me, but I did get to stage 3 and that is success enough for me! Seriously the game looks, feels and sounds great! It is also really polished for a jam game and the playable instructions really blew me away! 10/10
The 3-color palette usage is really impressive!
This is one of those game jam concepts I'd love to see expanded upon into a full game - it's really great! I feel like it would be even more fun if I could aim twin-stick with a gamepad.
