In what way does your game fit the theme?
You have to "rewind" a robot using a winding key to keep him operation and solve puzzles.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all of the code myself.
Friends helped out on the Artwork/Sounds/Music.
All the assets/animations/materials are mainly from the Unity Asset Store and Adobe Maximo

Enjoyed the physics and graphics. Was awesome to play. I think you might need to look at the hit boxes of some of the chargers in the wall, but apart from that, it was a pleasure to play!

Developer

Go it. Thanks for playing! :D

Love the bounciness physics application! the sound effect also really suit the game

Developer

Thank you and thanks for playing!

It feels great to throw the disc around and I love the sound effects! The rewind mechanic looks kind of shoehorned in though. It would be interesting if it was in any way relevant to the disc-throwing, because as it stands it's just a button you have to hold every now and then.

Developer

Thanks for playing!  That was the main goal with this prototype. To make it feel great to throw and recall it. I created this post to help explain more as to why the theme was interpreted the way it was: https://prodigalson.itch.io/rewinder/devlog/169302/thank-your-for-playing-my-gam...

Pretty cool, love seeing the Unity Robot Assets used :)

Great game design, clearly a lot of thought went into the mechanics of the game. Loved the music and sound effects and had fun playing a few levels.

Developer

Thank you. I mainly focused on making it fun and responsive to control the player. Hopefully it shows.
Thanks for playing!

I love the game, but I feel like the rewinding was added just to fit the theme, and it doesn't really add value to the game. I think it would be a lot better without it. Other than that, 5/5.

Developer

Oh, wow! Thanks and thank you for playing! :D Was there anything in specific you liked the most? It would help me to know how to continue working on this title.

Good game but, felt as if the theme was a last minute addition.

I love how you can bounce the shield against the walls to solve puzzles! Amazingly done!

Developer

I like how you called it a shield though it is not currently that is the direction I am heading towards. :D
Thanks for playing!

Pretty cool game! maybe you could implement some particle effect

Developer

Thanks! Yes, I wanted to. Need to learn how to do more of those. The last two sector has particles effects ;) Thanks for playing

You´re game is lot of fun. I think it´s a really cool idea to make a puzzle game and at the same time you have to "rewind" yourself. As a result I sometimes "fell asleep" at the exact moment when I actually wanted to catch a disk :). Good Job!

I´ve submitted a local multiplayer game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722755. I would be happy to get your feedback on it. :-D

Developer

I know what you mean. I did that many times while testing because I was focused on making sure things worked only to see the battery pass right be me and break since I could not catch it. lol Thanks for playing! Of course I will play. I make it my goal to play/rate anyone who has left a comment on my game before the end of the voting period. :D

Fun bouncing around the disc and the sound effect gives good feedback.

Developer

Nice! That's what I as aiming for. Thanks for playing! :D

fun puzzle rooms, and good level design but the theme felt tacked on. rewinding the robot jsut felt like busy work and wasn't a rewarding experience.

The graphics are really good! Taking rewind as winding key is awesome!

I really enjoyed the puzzles and interest mechanics to them to solve them!  Though, I find the rewind mechanic to  more of an annoyance.  I ended up just holding down space bar though out the game.

I liked the disc color switching mechanic. Perhaps making it more than just green and red would be interesting.

Developer

Cool. Thanks :)

This game concept is amazing

Developer

Thanks :D Was there anything in specific you liked the most? I want to work on the game more and it would be nice to know what was most enjoyed. :Da

I liked the game, it was a fun concept, but the rewind mechanic feels like is just there because it needs to be, rather than been a core feature. Besides that, good graphics and nice sound.

Overall, a pretty solid game for a jam, good job.

Was there a specific concept you found the most fun?

Submitted(+1)

It was a great game , really fun to play but i think the rewind could have been used better. I ended up just holding spacebar and had 0 issues with my character. overall though super fun.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Was there something specifically that you enjoyed the most? I would like to continue to work on the game more and it would be nice to know what elements of the game people enjoyed more.

I appreciate the explanation.  The puzzle aspect I enjoyed most it would make n excellent puzzle game if you were able to add more mechanics into it. loved the disc throwing and bouncing as the main mechanic though, it felt great.

Developer

Sweet! Thanks :)
