In what way does your game fit the theme?
You go back and forth in time, thus "rewind" to solve puzzles.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Code, art and sfx were made during the jam. The music was downloaded from the internet.

The art wasn't specially coming from Stardew Valley (as I don't fancy it at all actually) but I do get the vibe of the color palette and maybe because it's a chicken! Overall I took inspiration from Saint11 tutorials for pixel art and random things I found online, was fun going outside of my usual art style!
Clever puzzles. But it took a long time for me to figure out what was happening. Maybe its just for me. Nicely done.

If I remember correctly, the original submitter can add more users as "admins" to their project which then can be ticked as "collaborators" to be displayed as additional creators of the submission and to be granted the permission to vote.
You'll find the option under the Admins section (hidden under More) of your project's Edit Project page (you can find the button to enter the page beneath your specific project on the Projects section of your dashboard) but since only the original creator can access the edit page, you'll have to ask paku to add you. That's how I got to vote on all these amazing submissions. :D
Good luck!
Fun game! Loved the mechanic and the various abilities of the chickens. The levels weren't particularly hard, but they were still really fun, and there's an option to solve the puzzles in the minimum number of moves if players want to get good at the game. It's a nice way to provide a dynamic/adaptive difficulty in a way. Nice one!
This game is really smart. Good puzzles that are fun to solve, really 200IQ game mechanic. Game looks nice sounds nice and plays nice. Really good job
That is a very nice little puzzle game. There is also a great fill to it and obviously lot of thought put into it! Well done!
Really awesome puzzle mechanics here and the sprite art and animations were top notch! It was fun to figure out how many steps and when the chicken would change and such. Great job making this cool and unique game for the jam! When you have time please check out my game if you haven't :D
This is by far the best game I've played in this game jam. Top notch art style, great level desing, intelligent core mechanic and exploding time-rewinding chickens. Excellent job!
I really like the idea of having different abilities to use cleverly in order to advance! (Even though I got confused with them in the beginning too, just like riko said.) The art is amazing and meshes well with the sfx, only issue is that the music is too quiet in comparison to the sounds, so either the sfx blasts my ears or the music is barely noticeable. But overall, great Game!
I was initially confused on how the game mechanic works, but once I figured it out the game became a lot more fun! I think you should definitely let the player know how the game works as it would be confusing to new players. The graphics and the SFX are cool too! Great job!
My feelings exactly, even if we came up with the mechanics I'm still confused playing/making my own levels, I wish we'd have spent more time on the user experience, at least lesson learnt for the next time! Thank you for enjoying the graphics/sfx, the coding was pretty top notch too for such a short amount of time.
It was a really pretty game, art style really reminded me of Stardew. The puzzles were challenging which kept my attention.
that was a nice relaxing puzzle game. nice man i like it alot
like the age thing as part of your puzzle. it just took me a second or too understand it but it is a nice play game
Pretty neat game, congrats for you guys xD
Check my team's submission if you can ^^
The them is well implemented, the idea of the age of the chicken connected with the steps is great.
I really enjoy your game.
My game is a casual game if you wanna rate is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match , Thanks
The sound design and music is awesome! The art is amazing too :) I am super confused about the mechanic, though. I really have no clue what it is. If you could explain the mechanic to me I'll update my review ;)
Glad you liked the assets! About the mechanic I imagine you refer to the steps? If you walk to the left you get younger, right you get older. Each stage (age) has its pros and cons (well some more cons than others). Stage 1: Egg, can't move except right, breaks if falling (or bumped by pads). Stage 2: Little chick, you can crawl through tunnels, can't push rocks though. Stage 3: Adult, can push rocks but can't crawl through tunnels. Stage 4: Old chick, dies from falling/bumping from pads, can't push rocks, can't use tunnels or pads, basically you're close from dying.
If you meant explaining the reasoning behind it, we had a cutescene we had to delete (because Webgl didn't work out for our version of unity). The cutscene showcased an egg getting imbued by some sort of green potion giving powers, which allowed the chicken to get younger and older, we didn't have a story set in stone but a general direction to be sure!
I hope this all clears it out for you, if my answer was unfortunately too chaotic then I hope you enjoyed the game regardless! Thanks for reading :)
