Found a bit of an exploit where you can move fast while old by pressing x, space then z very quickly while moving. Overall solid game though, very fun concept and execution!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
My main character, Gramps, has the ability to REWIND time and transform into a younger version of himself to traverse through tough obstacles.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, almost every asset from this game is original except the music, which i credited in the start screen.

really enjoyed this game, loved the concept, had so much fun sneaking around the caretakers and then slightly panicking when almost being seen and smashing z to switch back little to hard lol

Timeless TaleWow this is a groovy game and very similar to our game's take on 'rewind'. The pixel art and animation is really lovely :) And I love the puff of smoke every time you transform! The game play is really clean and challenging enough to keep me playing! It's also a really nice story and the music fits it well. Great job guys! :D

Robo RewindClever! I didn't think I'd be seeing a stealth game on this jam! It's a cool idea with a very nice implementation. I love the art and music, which goes along with the game very nicely. I love how Gramps is slow, so you might want to risk becoming an adult to run faster, as well as to jump. It's quite hard, but a very good difficulty level. One thing I might add is dialog, which would be interesting. Maybe when the other non-caretakers see him young, they ask him to help them out with stuff, to make it so you don't want to go past them but can? Obviously there's a huge time constraint, but I could definitely seeing this being a full release. Great job!

PixelBustrI'm not really great at making videos, but basically i used multiple custom tilesets and slowly designed my levels in different layers. As for the waving elders, i just created a prefab with a script that senses when the player is nearby and initialises the wave animation. I'm not the most experienced developer but i do hope i helped answer your question!
