I'm terrible at platforms, but I had fun with this one :)

Though the character slides and moves faster than I prefer, the controls worked for me and I liked the art and music too

Nice art! The game is fun and challenging. However, at some point during the game I just started floating mid air and had to restart. I think I pressed P + D  into a wall while holding [ to grab it and the character freaked out and I could then only float left and right.  I thought the game was really fun though!

It was a really fun game, some feedbacks:

  • Nice pixel art!
  • I think the challenge was really nice. It has the typical platforming challenge but with more controls, introducing complexity & cool key input sequences to traverse through the level.
  • I somehow got stuck at 1 level though. After dying a few times there, my character just moves itself & I can't control it
  • I don't see how this game fits the theme though.

Overall, it was still a pretty fun & challenging game!

Do play & rate my game too if you can, really appreciate it! :)

Was a really fun game. Yeah was a bit difficult but that doesn't bother me too much. A bug is when I flipped gravity in a very low ceiling area I ended up inside the ground.
But I seriously enjoyed that.

I like this entry a lot, but it has some minor issues. As other people said, the difficulty curve was a little high, and the mechanics aren’t well explained at the beginning. Also, I find the choice of controls a little bit weird for my personal taste, but that’s probably because I’m already used to a specific control scheme for this kind of games. Overall, the games was great, but needs a couple of improvements. By the way, the graphics and music were amazing, I can’t say anything bad about them. You certainly kept the Celeste feel on that regard.

Cool platformer! I loved the idea of flipping gravity; it felt like a natural evolution of the kind of gameplay found in Celeste. The controls were intimidating at first, but once I imagined my keyboard like a traditional controller, it wasn't too hard to get used to (with the exception of the wall-clinging button, which I never really got the hang of). I do wish the controls were displayed in-game instead of you having to scroll down just to see them. The character movement itself was extremely tight, and felt really satisfying. The difficulty curve was a tiny bit high for my liking, and I feel like the game could have eased the player a little more into the control scheme before getting to the meat of things. Overall, it was a really fun game, albeit with some room for polish and improvement.

I like the idea of the game and I actually enjoyed a lot! Had same problems as others with the controls and the character movement, but apart from that, really good game! Would appreciate if you rated my game as well :)

Cute game. liked the graphics. Not going to add onto all the control comments that were mentioned already. I did have a bug when I clicked on assisted mode that I couldn't get back to the gameplay.

Other than that I found it enjoyable

Could you also please rate my game as well?

To all the people talking about the controls, we are acknowledging all your feedback. For your information, in the beginning, we were thinking it would be kind of convenient if you could use both of your hands. As a co-creator, I played the game a little also. I agree with all of you, but for me, it was kind of easy to get used to it. (I had to play it a lot of times though). I don't know how it affects you guys.

Also about the sliding character, we will work on that

Thank you all for the feedback!

The music was made by me :) thanks!

For a platformer game, it seems somewhat hard to control the actual character. The controls are a bit weird, and the character slides around too much, both in the air and on the ground. Some of the pixel art looks like it came straight out of Celeste such as the spikes and beams, which I don't mind too much, although your own spin on it would have been preferred. The music is simple, yet catchy. Overall good work!

I also had problem with [ and ] keys becouse of scandics. I liked music and sound effects.

Really enjoyed the graphics and soundtrack, but the controlles were for me a huge issue.

The "[" and "]" keys are an "altgr" combination on scandinavian keyboards which did not work properly. Great work though!

Solid work! Game is tough as nails. Also, jamming tune!

Cool game! the levels look really cool and like i could spend a lot of time and have a bunch of fun on them! Unfortunately i could not get the wall grab to work. Maybe swedish keyboards have a different layout than others because [ is on the same key as 8 and (. But otherwise awesome game and god job!

Another reviewer also talked to me about this, we are very sorry, but we based the keyboard on the common ones here in the U.S.

I think we can try making a mode in the game for your keyboards if that is okay!

This game is really cool! I like the graphics a lot and the music is pretty catchy! I think the biggest issue is the controls. For most players, they would want "space" or "w" has jump and have the player automatically grab onto walls when hugging it. "Esc" should probably be the pause menu instead.

Other than that, this was really fun to play!

Developer

I can completely agree on the controls and how they are kind of wacky, but w is key for the changing gravity, so space would be okay i think

Fully fleshed out this game would be incredibly nice!

The controls are super confusing and a bit counter-intuitive for my taste. But I definitly see a lot of potential in this! :)

Developer

Thank You, is there anything you would like us to improve on the game?

It gives me Celeste vibes but it's a little bit too hard. Pretty nice.

Developer

Try it in assist mode, you won't die so you can get the full gaming experience. Personally, i think this game is great for speedrunning, if improved a little

Submitted

unfiltered opinion: cool game, but the controls are daunting and i didn't die in spikes. other than that, cool art, movement, sounds, and story.

I love the game! the art, the music and the gameplay are great! Good job! (rated)

Great visuals! Really cute character and nice looking background art. I feel like the controls are a little messy and can be changed to be a little more intuitive. The movement can be tweaked a little too for the player to have more control over the character. Overall great effort!
