A brutal murder has happened and will the detective will be able to solve it? This concept has definitely potential. From my feeling, the setting should a bit different. I would try to take a more real-life scenario where it would be hard to detect the perpetrator like in a house, park, restaurant, hotel. You could also start the scene with the crime scene already happened. In this case, you would really need to rewind everything to find out the criminal. This would also be a portal for multiplayer, where the player has to compete against each other to find the suspect as fast a possible. Do it really have to be a murder, maybe you have to find a pickpocket and that would be maybe much harder. Great job with your work and creativity.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
You are a cop from the future crime division and you review footage of the crime. You can play, pause, rewind the action on the screen.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I made every asset as well as every line of code. However, I did use DoTween as my tweening library.

Hello,
Thanks for playing my Game. You can rewind the characters actions using the timeline to catch the enemy. This game is not polished at all and deffinetly a rewind video effect would have been a good adition to sell the idea. Either way, thanks for your feedback, once the jam is over I plan on going back and clean up the mess I have and update the game based on feedback.

Nice idea, I like the concept of the game and how you have implemented the theme.
I miss some music and effects to give more atmosphere.
I found a couple of issues:
1) When you start the system shows the 1° empty text end you have to click next.
2)When you finish a any level and go to a next level the games is broken. You have to restart unity again.
A very fun implementation on a simplistic idea.
I didn't mind crash issue, as far as reloading the page fixes it. Also, of course there will be bugs in a time-limited jam.
There is sounds or music, but we are investigating survelliance cam records which don't have a sound or music, maybe that was your intentional choice. But maybe a VHS tape player sound would be cool.
I really liked your approach on randomly created characters, but it would be better if there was more variants on faces, bodies, hair, etc. Because sometimes game can create exactly same characters. I was definitely sure about the look of the kiler, but surprise, there is a twin of him:
