Jam Host

Fantastic concept and great execution.  Great job.

The funniest game I have played this jam, really liked the concept, just maybe beware there are some bugs with the TV and sound, I stopped after the moving platform level but will definitely come back to play more !

This is a top notch game - the idea is REALLY clever; the controls, graphics and level design are great. There's room for improvement with the audio, but other than that, it's amazing how polished your game is.  Very well done!

Such a cool mechanic! I loved the art <3 If you want to watch my playthrough, you can find it here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2698508418?t=01h08m58s

Such a clever game. I loved it. From level design perspective it was awesome. So unique. Amazing job!!!

Super cool idea! It is interesting how your brain behave if you have to do two different task at the same time :) Really good game! The only thing that you can inprove is repetitive sound when TV go to hidden place

I absolutely love this game! The ideas are fascinating, the characters' smooth movements are delightful, and even the sound of wet rain feels soothing. I'm usually terrible at platformer games, but the difficulty level was just right for me to enjoy playing.

thanks :)

Got to level 25 but couldn't beat it after the longest time! I tried to do a single spring bounce from the very top but keyboard + mouse coordination proved difficult for me. Doing repeated bounces after falling regularly was more doable but I'd often fail the last or second last bounce. Spring sometimes would shift to the right if I landed from sunny view to rain view. If I landed in sunny view it was fine. Wondering what the "intended" solution is; I could see the single ambitious jump as a speed run option.

Procedural leg animation is a nice touch, reminded me a bit of Rain World.

Developer

Hey, the solution you tried is the intended one, but I still find it really tricky. I don't have a good solution, maybe I will redesign the hole level. It is the final level after all so I left it as a "challange" :)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback :)

Great work! Interesting concept and coherent aesthetics, very good level and progression design.

I really liked the concept. But the web build was having issues on my browser (firefox) where sometimes when I click on the TV it would automatically move to the top left of the screen and when I tried to  move the mouse it would refuse to move or move with an offset which would prevent me from moving the TV to the right of the screen.

Firefox sucks in webGl. It is better to play in other browser in general.

Cool game! It has nice concept and design. My TV screen was slowly going down when not moving the mouse. You can see it as a feature to keep the game interesting or it’s just a bug. Either way, personally I think it would make the game more entertaining if the screen stood still. Now I have to focus of the screen not moving to far, taking away the ground from the main character, while also moving the main character.

Fun game, the concept is really interesting! and there also a lot of levels, well done! I often fell when trying to jump, maybe adding coyote time would help.

Fun idea, I feel like I got pretty far! Sometimes I would mask out spikes and yeah, catch myself dying still because even though I couldn't see them, the death zone was stilll there. You mentioned hitbox stuff in another comment, so it's probably related to that. Also, possibly constantly hearing the walk animation when not walking. Still good job, had fun!

Super cool game idea!!! Tougher than I expected, but it was really fun figuring out each of the levels. There were a couple times where the TV mechanic was a bit finicky, like bonking on platforms that were out-of-frame, but that's nothing some patches can't fix. I still had a great time :DD

Developer(+1)

Yeah there where some last minute changes to increase the hitbox of the character to stand up properly. But this messed up the collision with the TV and I did not have time to fix it. But its on the list for the post Jam update :) Thanks for

Cute! I really enjoyed the concept. Revealing the platform and the leaping into the frame feels real satisfying. I'd like to see where these puzzle concepts go next.

I did get stuck at level 14, where waiting for the platform to return at the start  got a little frustrating (though, I might just be doing it wrong). Defo will come back to try again!

Developer

Yeah that was also what I realized while playtesting. The jump is really tight, I will update it on the post jam update. Thanks for playing :)
