How does the game fit the theme?
The bugs will risk their life for the biscuit. You have to defend your midnight snack.

This was cute! Very simple and easy to understand, which can be a big plus for game jam games.
After a couple of attempts where I died quite fast, I seemed to win just by spinning the mouse around really fast. I'm not quite sure if it was the intended strategy, but it may have trivialized looking for the roaches a bit. It could be good to have the loss not be immediate upon a roach making it to the cookie and instead have a health bar that depletes or something like that. It could help provide stakes without immediately ending the run.
Cool game!
Really nice and simple game!
Short and fun, but it is kinda confusing. There isn't a lot of feedback for what you did wrong, so it is hard to understand what to do differently. I think it has a ton of potential to be really fun, and the twist on the theme is really clever!
This has really great potential!
Not sure if it's my computer or it's an intended mechanic but the light was too slow to control. In the Normal Mode, I managed to scare away a few cockroaches but there was no indicator to let me know what I needed to do to go to the next level (e.g. scared away a number of cockroaches or kept the biscuit safe for a period of time)
I tried the Infinite Mode, but only lasted no more than 15 seconds. Man, those bugs are sneaky.
It might also be helpful to show where the cookies are at the beginning. I couldn't determine which areas I had to protect from the bugs.
But man.. You made this all by yourself. That's awesome! Keep up the good work :D
I would usually advice to not mix pixel art resolutions, but it fits so well with the MSPaint aesthetic and makes the bugs easy to spot. It works better than it has any right to, great job! The gameplay was a bit confusing though, and sometimes I would just lose instantly when a level starts.
Had trouble figuring out how to play the game at first, but got it pretty quickly. I had a very uncomfortable time playing this game (as someone who is uncomfortable with insects) but that's just about as much as one should expect.
Uncomfortable noises that got under my skin, so good job.
Had times where the round starts and I already lost without time to react.
Nice game! Easy to understand and simple mechanics.
I would say the gameplay is a bit goofy because when I was actually trying to scare the roaches away I kept losing. And when I won by keeping the light in the middle and just dragging it left and right xD. Oh and the roach sound was unsettling, good job!
The idea is nice overall but lacks challange once you know what to do.
Ran into a screen adjustment issue, we also had to deal with it for our game but it can be adjusted from the godot engine itself, besides that great job!
Interesting concept, it was easy to understand and the mechanics are simple but good :)
I just ran one problem during my playthrough,
I could see the roaches outside of the playable area, I just think it needs to be adjusted to the size of the screen, I couldn't go to the next level since the roaches always spawned outside
Woah! That's an interesting bug (pun intended, I guess)!

Disgusting but in a good way. This game made me physically feel something and that's never a bad thing. Amazing work
I beat the game! Really loved the concepts but sometimes the level starts and I fail.
Both uncomfortable and fun to play, can’t say I was expecting that! One of the most unique games I’ve seen so far. Great work!
great take to the theme! it seems like the roaches only half one route to enter, was that intentional?
i made it to level five!!! lovely game, i suggest if you add a feature where you can kill bugs by clicking on them ! overall it's very creative and nice, but the noise is a bit weird and it makes me feel like bugs crawling on my skin lol (i'm on the autism spectrum so maybe that's why), anyways i really love it,great job!!!
I got to level 3! I like the gameplay, but it kind of sucks not knowing where the roach was when i lost, I think revealing where it got to the biscuits would be helpful.
Nice little game. I played three times and managed to get to level four. Great job!
I respect the commitment to the MSPaint aesthetic. There were time when, in the process of "fighting bugs" with my flashlight, I felt like I was "fighting bugs" of a different nature - is it possible the area where bugs are supposed to be kept away from does not line up with the graphics? The flashlight radius could benefit from being larger. But either way, I'll remember my time with Running Roaches!
Very unique idea! I did find the game didn't really tell me why I lost, but it was quite interesting.
