How does the game fit the theme?
There is a bank that you can deposit money into but if it takes damage it loses money and at the end of each wave you get the amount of money in the bank, so it's like risking money to get more money that you can spend on upgrades. Also, there is a mechanic with dynamite where you can throw a dynamite back at enemies with the obvious risk of it potentially exploding before you get to throw it.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Enemy sprites, building models, ground texture, all sounds and music.

How many people worked on the game?

Nice game, played a few times!

Very cool doom-like shooter, very polished and fun. I loved the weapon variation and it was super fun to play!

An FPS tower defense game, in an Old West setting, with the bank being the tower. That's quite a unique idea. Kudos.

I had fun playing it.

Thank you so much! Fun fact the bank idea was pretty last minute to implement and was just going for a casual “vampire survivor” theme, so I’m glad you love the concept and that you had a fun time playing :D

Well I WAS gonna play some more games today, but I ended up getting to wave 20, having 300K in the bank, and moving so fast that single-tapping the W key put me on opposite sides of the map clipping through objects lol. Seriously, I had an absolute blast with this one, thanks so much for sharing it with us! Seriously, I don't even like wave defense games but y'all really nailed this one.

If I were forced to give feedback, I think setting the damage of the shotgun based on distance would balance it a lot. By like wave 10 I was insta-reloading with fast speed and could clear whole waves from the bank. That one tweak would go a long way in stopping people from breaking the game... Oh and left-handed support is always nice, but I could go righty across the keyboard to make this one work (super glad I didn't do what I typically do and give up when I don't see left-hand supprot!). But like for a week of work this one was a banger, amazing job team!

Great idea of a game. Unfortunately I had no bullets anymore at the end. So you need to pay attention.

Interesting and good work *thumbs up*

Smooth gameplay, nice visuals and fits the theme fine. Nice job!

Deciding whether to run or collect a lit stick of dynamite had really flavorful "risk it for the biscuit" vibe for me.  I think it could have a bit more upside somehow.  Maybe this could be as simple as the trajectory being a forceful forward launch rather than lobbing up at such a steep angle.  I had a lot of sticks just plop down in no mans land between me and the enemy, so the biscuit half of the equation didn't always land.

In my opinion, the strongest biscuit-risking flavor was in the ammo economy.  It is pretty easy to just camp the bank and shoot anyone who gets near, but if you play it too safe and run out of ammo, you might have to go a long way out to pick up some of the dropped bullets.  The tension between figuring out when to sacrifice the security of camping in order to keep your armory stocked was definitely felt.

Nice idea, and i love the enviroment.

unfortunately mouse sensitivity is too mush, the game is unplayable.

That is a fun game. Liked the pace and handling. Fast movement, good gunplay. The visuals of the enemy's feels off as all of the graphics were realistic with real sand, gun and house textures but the creatures felt like from other art style.

I really missed a pause menu. I tried to read some of the controls during gameplay and there was no option to pause the game.

Loved the soundtrack and sound design! Very satisfying to listen to!

plays really nice! also has a hook that keeps evolving decently and is properly balanced.

as a small point of feedback it would help if the bombs are being tossed a bit further, i got myself killed trying to get close enough to a clump of enemies to effectively use my bombs :(

The gun play felt really smooth, if this were expanded into a campaign of some sort, that would be *mwah*

I ran out of bullets and basically screwed myself over. It was really fun. Really liked the survival waves and western theme. Awesome game!

Mechanically, this is really quite nice to play. The interaction is responsive and you've managed to capture the boomer shooter feel very well. Gunning down enemies is really fun! The level design could use some work though as the importance of the bank means the player needs to stay mostly in one location. It's also possible to get left with no combat option since your ammo can run out and the only ammo drops I've seen are enemies... so if you've run out of ammo and you can't fight, you can't fight. It's a bit of a catch 22.

Yeah, you're absolutely right. Wanted to add a vending machine to buy ammo during the wave on the other side of the map away from the bank since you can only buy ammo during the shop phase but couldn't get to it in time. Thanks for playing!

Nice addicting little game. Was not clear to me how the later upgrades affected the player but I had a lot of fun picking off endless waves with the revolver.
