Nice shooter game with good visuals and nice atmosphere. The movement speed felt too high and mouse sensitive was to high from begin. But Gunplay felt good and upgrade/trading system was motivating.

Some more Sounddesign for the enemy would be good as it felt a little bit empty without the music. The music was good, but a nice DOOM like action soundtrack for hunting down monsters would be cool idea. :D

Felt like a polished and finished game. Good work!

Gave me sone haunting barotrauma vibes. Great :D

Pixelart and music was superb! I didn't like the treasure art, it feels off getting gold crowns and stuff in the ocean. Game was fun and also challenge. A deepness meter, to show how far down from surface would be nice, to see if we are 100 meter or 200 meter, like in Subnautica.

Keep on working on the game!

Sadly an unfinished Game. The Art design of the menu and city was great. I love a game where I can eat my German Schnitzel! There are some fun and good ideas. The Plattform level was without any sound and is reaching a dead end soon.

I also had many visuals glitches as this game doesn't work in fullscreen or bigger screens.

Also the town is not scaleable. I needed a digital magnifier to play.

Do you have plans to work on it further?

I was confused and thought the knight is our player char but then I realised it's the enemy and we are in first person. :D

I love the art design! The enemy looks and movement are great. Subtle animations in the background would be a nice addition, like subtle movements in the clouds or very slow falling snow. The "risk it for more" is missing somehow.  I also missed more visiual feedback if the plyer gets hit, maybe red color or blood on the screen?

The music was music superb, though no original composition for the game. Gameplay was fun and challenging,

Fun little game and refreshing idea for the biscuit theme.

A Unity file is not a finished game. Without assets nobody can open the game!

I cannot download it. How to play it?

Meanwhile you can check out our game in the browser if you like.

The Dog Mafia has your best friend Biscuit in their paws, and they want their bones back! To pay off his debt, you’ll have to throw yourself into the wild world of dock diving and shady deals. Learn new moves, unlock skills, and gear up with items to earn money faster. But beware: sometimes you’ll need to take on even more debt just to get ahead. It’s risky business, but it’s the only way to free Biscuit from the Italian Dog Mob.

Do you dare to risk it all for Biscuit?

Have fun playing our game. I was the composer and sounddesigner and would like to know how my music is doing in the rating. So we need 20 votes to see how it went. Thanks!

One of the best games I played in this jam so far! Love it. Visuals are 5*. Everything feels in the same art style and color scheme, that so important and you nailed it.

As a fan of Subnautica I liked the theme. Gameplay was addictive and enjoful. I like how it's one big "world"instead of levels and the deeper regions are like new levels with new enemies. The enemies like Jellyfish or sharks had no sound design sadly. A buzzing sound or a "warm up" sound for the jellyfish can help the player to time the movements better. I like the music, very calming and fitting for the underwater world. The piano pice in the menu feels like a diffrent world and doesn't match the sound world of the level music. I see one of the tracks is coming from Pixabay.

If you like to work further on the game and want an individual composed soundtrack I can help. I'm a video game composer. You can check out some of my work in our Jam entry if you like.

Love the concept and theme. Very unique! First person dog games are great. It was quite challenging too.

Didn't feel right that the guards want to "kill" the dog. I had problems with the options menu, as there were no volume sliders and missing UI I think? And some parts of the game feels unfiinshed like the missing textures when you turn around at spawn.

Please keep on working on the game after the jam. The concept here is one of the better ones I've seen in the jam.

The idea is super fun and I like the old school 3D art style.  The camera was confusing sometimes and at the end of the race my bug is always running out of boundary and clipping through the audience.

It would be cool to name our ant so it is not just "Player" when the camera show the names.

There was no sound design at all. No crowd cheering, not UI click sounds in the menu, no funny animals noises. In a game where is no actual gameplay and you just watch an ant running, audio can make the experience a lot better. There was a song though, but it was always the same. When using free music, there is always the chance to just use multiple songs and trigger them randomly, so every race has a new song. The song you used was fitting and cool, but the audio quality was bad, there was an audible noise floor. The recording needed a de-noiser for sure.

I hope you continue working on it after the jam and expand the ideas.

The game has no sound at all, which is a huge minus as video games are an audio visual experience. And sound design can enhance the experience in every way. Enemy sounds, music and more.

I liked the upgrade system and controls worked well. I got a final score of 325. The game was way too easy though. I think one enemy who can shoot something back would have given the speed upgrade a real purpose.  If there were obstacles like walls or spikes or something it would also be more challenging as you need to plan your movements. You could change the layout of the traps every wave, so the player need to learn new routes every wave.

Right now you just run around the enemy's in circles and keep on shooting. It was a little dull in the end. But it is a nice idea to work upon.

I didn't get the theme though as the game was too easy, there was never a reason to choose regular wave.

Even if it's only 5 minutes, I would recommend adding a pause screen as sometimes you might get to the door or answer a call and then you cannot pause the game.

Very cool idea with lurking enemies into your shooting range and only be able to shoot from a certain place. Never had something like this before.

The visuals were pretty basic though and I really missed sound design for the enemy's, they look quite menacing but don't emit any sound that match the look.

Controls and gameplay felt pretty smooth and it was fun and also challenging.

That is a fun game. Liked the pace and handling. Fast movement, good gunplay. The visuals of the enemy's feels off as all of the graphics were realistic with real sand, gun and house textures but the creatures felt like from other art style.

I really missed a pause menu. I tried to read some of the controls during gameplay and there was no option to pause the game.

Loved the soundtrack and sound design! Very satisfying to listen to!

The idea for the theme was funny to play bad santa and stealing the kids their candy! The house felt very big and empty while the characters were kept too small. There was no SFX or music, which make it a very dull experience.

The gameplay mechanics worked well and movement felt good. I was not able to jump off a ladder and needed to climb it all down like a regular guy, missed that.

Thanks ♥

Thank you for playing and the feedback! Glad you liked it!

The bug only occurred on the smaller debt or the big one? Could you pay off the big loan you have in the left side of the screen at the loan shop?

Did you buy all the upgrades? You can do more tricks and even move single legs later on while mid air.

Hi! Thanks for playing. To win the game you need to pay off the big amount of loan you already have. You have a daily interest on it. In the end you will not win the game as your debt is getting too high. If you take more loans, you can buy more skills and get more money per day to pay off even more.

What do you think about the music I did? :)

Great idea that each level has a unique mechanic and even with zero instructions it was really easy and satisfying. figuring out what to do! The finale was a little anti-climax as it was too easy compared to the levels before. The art remembered me of old games I used to play on the ATARI ST. Like it!

I appreciate that every level has an own music track, it also makes the replay value better. But the tracks seems very random and do not really catch the "surreal" feeling of the game and the music was too straight and melodic.

There was also a lot of missing audio elements, many moving elements, shooting stuff, spiral animation at the end of each level, they were all mute and did not made any sound. I saw a lot of missed audio opportunities here.

It was a fun game and I enjoyed every level of it!

Thanks! Where did you get stuck?
