Cute little game which is quite challenging with the controls, especially when moving with WASD aiming with the mouse and using skills.

Interesting game and idea. I did not understand in the beginning what the cards are about (how they change the game). Only when I was already in round 5 and hovered over these I saw there usage.
Furthermore I did not understand why cards disappeared in a round sometimes (not clear to me). And at the end when I had 6 dice left and rolled 3 and did not reach the sum the game ended directly having still 3 dice left, not sure if it was already calculated if I would reach the score for next round or if it might be a bug.
Also the pixel style of some numbers is quite difficult to read sometimes (for the dice I got used to it when playing).
But overall a nice game idea and implementation.
The game is really cool giving you Balatro vibes.
I had some issues with the screen size in the web version. I assume there is no issue in the downloadable one (see below).
Also it was not totally clear to me after finishing the "boss" it just continues or continues by restarting from the beginning ?
Overall I really liked it and am looking forward if there is something more coming after the Jam regarding this game.

I liked the visuals also showing the character running. I had some issues with fighting the enemy and also jumping. Seems there is no jump implemented like in Celeste even if it seems so when you slowly slide down the wall but cannot jump again.
I noticed also you get something when you fight the enemy but happened only on the top one. The lower one nothing happened beside myself loosing health. Furthermore it would be good to keep the enemy between boundaries. I had a case where the upper enemy was going to the left and then fell down until both enemies were at the bottom of the level (running in opposite directions while I was on the platform above).
Nevertheless nice implementation for a first game.
When opening the game there are black bars on top and bottom. On top is is partially hiding the information about time and points and the Switch/fading when you die is doing the inverse the black bars on top are showing the rest of the screen.
Furthermore perhaps you should prevent that you can go out of the screen on the sides (but perhaps it is on purpose for the difficulty ;) ).
This was a really fun and interesting discovery of a game. I have not yet succeeded but it makes you addicted. :)
It seems quite hard as the minutes I player I got better but was always too slow. I think I need to invest more games into it.
Really well done and I am looking forward to the potential it offers in the future. *thumbs up*
