How does your game fit into the theme?
The story follows the progression and setting of animes like bayblade and yugioh where the game itself exists in the story and somehow it's related with really crazy stuff.
Gameplay wise chains and reactions are all over the game, from chaining bubbles to connect/fuse them to chain reactions when they pop.

A really fun game! The mechanics was simple to learn, but hard to master. Really fun to try and get a huge ball and then pop it. I love the artwork!! Doki and the rest of the crew look fantastic in your art style. The in-game layout was lovely as well. Focused, clean, and shows all the important information.
Though at one point, I wasn't able to connect any more balls together. I get the sounds of them connecting, but no lines were formed and they didn't do anything. I ended up having to refresh the page to fix it.
Thank you for adding so many features too. It made it feel like a complete game.
Great job on the game!
Very cute, I love little games like this. It was a bit hard to play on my build, but I enjoyed what I could.
Uhh I broke the game I think.
I tried to immediately build a bigger bubble out of the ones buffed by doki’s skill, but the one i started on got popped automatically and this started happening, then the health drain paused and the game got stuck like this.
The art is very cute and the game concept is great. I love all the little faces on the bubbles.
I wish some of the mechanics were explained to me better. The first mint fight destroyed me multiple times, and I only understood what I was meant to do against her skill on the second fight. The game is pretty difficult already but without being able to understand what enemy skills do it becomes a rage game.
Ok I beat the game. I was playing on a private Edge window because Godot games run better on Edge in my experience so I lost my progress when the game froze on me. It really made me wish there was a skip button in the story sections.
It does seem that there are quite a few bugs. Hp starts draining while the countdown before the match is still ongoing. The options menu does not open. Some of the cutscenes seem broken.
When connecting two bubbles, the direction matters sometimes. A can connect to B while B can’t connect to A.
There are other things that aren’t bugs that are quite frustrating. Mint’s skill is very annoying because when a bubble gets too big it gets pushed outwards and can’t “hit” the wisps that fall inwards because they are small like sand. I understand that you don’t want to overwhelm the player with text, but I wish more of the mechanics were explained. How big does a bubble need to be to deal damage? How big does it need to pop by itself? How much skill charge do you get per size of the bubble popped? How big is the radius of a popping bubble’s area where it increases the size of the nearby bubbles or destroys wisps?
Still one of the best entries in the jam that I’ve played so far. This is some of the highest amount of content you can find in one entry in this jam and the gameplay is the most creative that I have seen so far among the entries I played.
Thank you so much for the really thoughtful comment, it's really appreciated.
There's a few bugs we know about though some of the ones you mention are new, saving and tutorial is being developed with saving being almost done.
I'll give these bugs a look and try to fix them ASAP. Again, thank you so much for the response, I'm glad you enjoyed it despite its flaws and congrats on beating it!
We have a tutorial now! So please check the game out again if you have time!
I just encountered a similar bug!
One of my favorite entries of the jam!
Super fun and addictive to play!
I had to stop after losing to the mysterious figure four times in a row. Using a trackball instead of a mouse really lowers my precision and unfortunately I couldn't chain as often and as fast as I would've liked to. Now my hand hurts like hell ahahahaha. XD
Great job, team!
I'm surprised you got that far with track holy...
Thanks for liking the game! There's a few bugfixes on the way too.
Loved the artstyle, gameplay kicked my ass hard but I know thats just skill issue lol
The UI, art and opening sequence are great. There's even a dragoon screen transition. That said, I could not fully understand the gameplay. I know that I'm suppose to connect the bubbles together, but I have no idea what I am supposed to do from there. Things like whether I should click on them or let them pop by themselves, when to use skills, and what does the opponent's skills do. Not knowing the strats made me lose to the sage dragoon without learning what I can change in my next round.
Tutorial is something that our game really needed sadly, but we are going to work this week in order to fix this issue (We asked the Jam organizer and this is ok to do)
I hope you can give our game a try again once we add this, it'll be worth it! For now, we'll try to add more information to the itch.io page of the game so please give it a read too!
We have a tutorial now! So please check the game out again if you have time!
Almost beat the boss but our power went out which is so frustrating LMAO Will definitely play again! The story, art, and gameplay are 10/10!
oh no! Thanks for playing though, glad you enjoyed it! :D Thankfully we DO have saving stage unlocks and dialogue skipping now, so if that ever happens again you should be okay!
Yipee! Thank you!
Cute story, good gameplay, great art! I wonder what that secret mode on the title screen is...
Looks great! Bubble art, dialog art, and menus are all very polished.
It does feel strange to me that a combo game in the vein of Bubble Shooter, Tetris, Puyo Puyo, or Suika doesn't directly punish the player for building up too much "junk" without clearing it. In this way it feels somewhat imbalanced, as there's not as much downside to stockpiling.
But, it's still enjoyable :) Well done
Can you explain more about what you mean with doesn't directly punish the player for building up too much "junk"?
It's a really clever take on the theme! The gameplay is really fun too.
Great artstyle and gameplay, well done!
This was more fun then I thought. Took me while before I found out I can click and drag to select more then 2. Also the art was really nice.
Honestly fantastic, got hooked on it and it has so much charm. Well done!
This was soooo delightful to play!
The art literally blew me away upon first loading, and the gameplay has me HOOKED!
Too bad I suck and was struggling to make it past Mint 😭 (I'm way too embarrassed to admit how long it took me to make it past the first old birb 🫠)
Will definitely come back to try and play more! GREAT JOB TEAM!! 💪🏽❤️🔥
Thank you so much! As a few tips I recommend you saving Mint's bubbles since Wisps don't affect Mint. Saving your skill to get rid of Wisps is good too.
*Furiously jots down note and tips*
