An extremely fun game.
Really loved the Hotline miami vibe in the gameplay.
Thanks so much for playing! Hotline Miami was a huge influence in the design
Such a fun game, the mechanics and the rage room feeling were on point! LIZAAAARD
Thanks! LIZAAAARD
Damnnn, really fun game, I really liked the feeling of breaking stuff (above all, breaking so much stuff that the game starts lagging is really funny). Also, really liked the quick time event (although some small UI saying PRESS or something would be awesome).
Really good work, congrats!
And that's with a preloaded box so the game ran smoother on the browser!
There was an instruction that shows for a few seconds, but our progress counter kinda overshadows it during the transition and it's immediately replaced by the multiplier counter, so definitely needs some tweaking. Also during some initial testing it felt like it ran a bit too long, so we trimmed it down, perhaps too much.
Appreciate the feedback! Thanks for playing!
Breaking the boxes is super fun, nice work.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Looks like you focused on the rage room wildcard, awesome job. :D
That's for sure! Thanks!
This game is AMAZING!!!! its just a video game rage room, And i love it. the execution was perfect! I really like the way you can catch things with your tongue and throw them, and the music as well as the sound effect and art were amazing.
By the way is this score good?
And one more thing I forgot to say: LIZARDDDDDD!!!!
LIZARDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!
i love games like this my [LIZARD] brain just eats this stuff up!
The horses are such a random addition that as i saw them i fall in love in this game even more!
press space to [LIZARD] cracked me up

Love the idea, and very well executed. Controls felt so good, y'all should definitely expand this! The crate throwing mechanic RULES
Glad you enjoyed it! We're certainly considering fleshing the game out. As with most jams, there were some things we simply left out.
Thanks for playing!
So much chaos with all the boxes. I loved the screen shake. I would love to see more levels.
More levels for sure! There's always more destruction to be had.
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!
That was fun. It felt great, which is so important with these kinds of game. Great work with the polish on the crate throwing mechanic. Also, I said "lizard" to as many things as I could. Not sure why, but it felt right.
When in doubt, lizard it out. Thanks for playing!
This was a fun game. Causing utter chaos by throwing the crate constantly is really rewarding with the juice going on and it performed really well with that that going on. Simple idea but really polished, a great combo! Nice work all.
(LIZARD)
We definitely wanted to juice the game up. Glad to see it pay off. Thanks for playing!

There i was, casually reading through the description as the game was loading, drinking my cuppa and wondering to myself what the hell " LIZARD: Spacebar " could possibly mean. "Perhaps it's an acronym?"
Game loads, first thing i do; press spacebar. Cracked me up good.
Anyway! The game itself is a lot of fun, very satisfying to smash stuff, and as a fellow lover of abusing camera shake it felt visceral and left me wanting more to smash.
Nice job all!
Lizard In Zany Action Room Destruction
Just kidding! I just made that up off the top of my head. We weren't quite sure what to call it without giving too much away.
Thanks for playing!
I had a really fun time with this one! The controls and physics feel really nice. There's something especially satisfying about destroying a bunch of crates in a row with the tongue mechanic.
One small nitpick about the audio: the "Demo Lizard" sound effect seems quite a bit louder than the other sound effects, and is also hard panned to the left sometimes.
Besides that, really nice work on this one!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I agree that the audio for that effect could be more impactful. It was a late add.
Thanks for playing!
Nice game, I really liked the smooth controls, and it was a nice playing experience.
The art looked really good, too. It was a bit weird having some art that was pixel art and some art that was smooth and crisp.
Not sure what the horses you collected were for.
It would have been nice if the lizards had moved away from the broken cage when you freed them and faded off-screen.
This was a very playable game and worked well all round.
Thanks!
Yeah we were a bit all over the place with our art. We didn't have one set person doing art. The horses are an Easter Egg from the game jam we all previously partook.
Appreciate the feedback! Thanks for playing!
Thank you for the feedback! I originally wanted to have the lizards head for the exit using NavigationAgents but had to miss the last few days of the jam, so unfortunately didn’t get to it in time.
super fun, i loved getting a good throw and seeing a whole room of boxes crumble. the screen turning red when i was doing well confused me at first cause i thought it meant i was about to die and an option to turn down the number of box gibs would be nice, but otherwise everything was great
Thanks for playing our game! Glad you enjoyed it!
Good note about the box gibs. It was our first go at having a lot of physics based objects. Unfortunately, thanks to a bug with HTML builds and our audio stream player, our testing was limited so we didn't get a chance to fine tune the gibs. Definitely will keep that in mind in the future. Thanks!
Wow, this one was epic. Quick, fun, really satisfying destruction. All the “lizard” sounds at the end made me laugh.
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!
Loved it! This was simple and easy to pick up, but loads of fun. Smashing groups of boxes with the tongue lash power was especially satisfying.
As the comment below said, the prompt to press the spacebar could be made more clear. I also noticed that the "Horses found" counter on the end screen doesn't reset after each round.
Great work!
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!
For our QTE, we wanted the transition to be rather quick (a la Warioware) to keep the action going, but I agree there's room for improvement. The "rage" effect and "Lizards freed" counter persisting to the QTE didn't help either.
As for the horses, it was a late, hasty add as part of an ongoing joke within our group, so not surprising it's buggy.
Appreciate the feedback!
Nice rage game! I loved destroying objects and freeing the lizards. I only hoped to meet some enemies, too. The lack of them disappointed me a bit. I would also recommend to make the inscription "Press the spacebar" in the end QTE better visible and readable. I didn't catch it in my first play. But the controls and the destruction mechanics were really lovely. They would be even lovelier if used against enemies... Well done!
Glad you had fun!
I agree. With our previous jam experience(s), we were concerned about scope creep and realistic, achievable features based on our somewhat limited familiarity with Godot. I think if we decide to continue developing the game, incorporating some enemy to beat up would be a great addition.
Regarding the QTE, that's another area we need fine tune a bit more it seems.
Thanks for playing! Appreciate the feedback!
I was already enjoying that before I discovered that you can use the tongue lash to combo multiple boxes, at which point it became a 10/10 experience. Simple, but oh-so-very-sweet. Great stuff!
I think the tongue lash might be a bit OP, but in a game this style, it's hella fun and satisfying! Glad you thought so as well!
Thanks for playing!
Reminds me of Hotline Miami, satisfying.
Mission accomplished.
Thanks!
