Ooooooooooof... did it finally. It took me at least 20 attempts. The game is very hard. The combat system is nice but the graphics aren't so good. The player looks rather like a witch than a scarab. The music isn't bad though. Well done!

I ended up just as everyone else - gray screen.

Same.

Awesome entry! I‌ don't like the background, it makes me feel a bit dizzy. But the mechanics of the game and the variety of characters are nice. Great job!

Hi! The game has a good concept, but is pretty unfinished and buggy. The auto-combat system is a good idea, but it is buggy - my critters often completely stop fighting. And as it is auto and I can't affect the fight otherwise than by reacting to QTEs (and I always do), the fight is impossible to win once you reach fight 3. Polish the game and enable money earning even if the fight is lost. It will become a good game.

Hello, the Linux file doesn't work.

Nice concept! The game is an interesting simulator with a good story. What I don't really like is that the game becomes boring after some time. I also wasn't sure if the game was endless... until I‌ reached the end. But the concept and the sample are awesome. The relaxing music is cool. Good job!

Excellent concept! I enjoyed it. What I mind a lot is that the game lacks a good tutorial. It took me way too long to understand that I had to press Ctrl/Space/Shift when the turntable is currently active. Once I understood this, the game became brilliant! I really wouldn't expect such an excellent rhythm game in a game jam. By the way, I ended up #2 on the leaderboard without even expecting it. During the game, it didn't feel like I was so good...

Yes, I also think that the game contains too much text content compared to playable content. Thanks for your comment!

Nice concept! The game is confusing in the beginning. It's also stupid that you can't view names and effects of what you've already planted. And that would definitely come in handy. The card game concept is interesting though. I like that there's a lot of variability in the game. Not bad!

Hi! I think that you made it too difficult. Yes, it's about tactics. But it's also about being a lucky devil. If the coincidence doesn't play for you, then you're doomed. I would appreciate the game easier and longer - I hoped for more than one fight. The graphics and music aren't bad though. The principle of the game is also good. If you use it in a better way (so that it's less about luck), you'll go a long way!

Cool! What I didn't like is that the word is above the critters. It should be under them so that I can see the word early enough. The word being located above the animal adds false difficulty to the game. The game is nice otherwise! I wouldn't expect to have fun playing a game where you only type. The animals looked so cute! I almost felt sorry for killing them. The bonuses were super. The chain combined with the bomb is an unconventional weapon - it can clear the whole board instantly. Simple, but fun!

By the way, I managed to survive for nearly 20 minutes in my first game. Maybe you should make the game harder, it started to be a little annoying after a while...

Good job! You should have explained that after exterminating roaches in one room, I need to go to the illuminated door to proceed. It took me a while to understand this. The game is nice otherwise! The idea is cool, the music and horror atmosphere feels good. Not bad!

I'm not sure about something: Is the game endless, or is there a point where you win? My best was clearing the third room (I think).

Some serious bugs that I spotted:

1) When you lose, the "Game over" screen won't go away if I press "Try again". The game must be restarted afterwards.

2) If you shoot (using the spacebar) while being in the hamster's camera, you can't see the shooting bar.

3) The arrows to switch cameras don't work properly.

I think that especially the 1st bug can be considered game-breaking. Maybe you should contact the jam mods and ask them to allow you to fix it.

Thanks!

I'm asking just so out of curiosity. I'm sometimes interested in where people in the internet are from. I'm Czech, by the way.

I'm sorry to say this. The photographing system is strange, I don't understand how to take a good photo. It would also be good to add the possiblity to discard bad photos. The lack of audio is also a big issue. The graphics aren't bad though and the capturing minigame uses the Button Smash wildcard well. I think that this game is unfinished. Polish it after the end of the jam and it'll be good!

Hi! This game has a huge potential that isn't used. The issue is that the game is SOOO buggy. It's also bad that you didn't explain the shooting system properly. Luckily, I managed to figure out that I needed to shoot when the bar was about half-full. Once I figured out the game mechanics, the game started to be fun! The physics are so nice and the possibility of view from the hamster is brilliant! Such a shame that this game is so unpolished... Polish the game after the end of the jam and it will become an excellent piece of work.

Thanks!

Good job! The minigames are fun, I loved EULA! It was definitely a good idea to write a guide on the itch.io page as I couldn't understand some of the minigames. You should have also explained that after throwing the line into the water, I need to wait a moment before a fish comes. It took me a while to understand this. But the music is lovely and the idea is original. You created a good parody of fishing games!

This is not a real issue, it's rather funny: the plural of "fish" is just "fish", not "fishes". I see that you aren't a native English speaker. (And neither am I). :-) I noticed the Ukrainian translation in the settings which I find interesting. Just out of curiosity: Are you Ukrainian?

I guess you're right regarding the font. I should have added the possibility to adjust the font size. Thanks for your comment!

OK. I didn't know that the game had a page... That link is so invisible...

Thanks for the explanation! But I still don't understand something. How do I know which ore I might get/lose?

Hello! I liked the music. But I don't understand what's going on. What's that beginning turn? What are those pictures that I can click on in the "menu"? Why do some of them give and some of them take ore? How do I recognize what type of ore I might win or lose? And at which point does the game end? Please, could you explain it in the reply or in the itch.io page?

Oh, such a piece! You really created hundreds of critters out of clay using your hands and then converted them into computer pictures? Or did you only create some components manually and then enabled procedural generation? If any case is true, it must have been hard work! Well done!

Yes, my game contains too much dialogue content and too few playable content. And I admit that the slimes should be smaller. Thanks for your feedback!

Yes, the "teams" of slimes are tough. Maybe I should have made it a bit different and easier... Thanks for your reply!

Not bad! I am unfortunately not a fan of idle clicker games. But this one isn't bad, even though it can't entertain for a longer time. The game also contains some bugs. But I adore the pigs, they're so cute. The music is lovely, too. The mechanics of how you can earn truffles, fruits and science aren't bad. Maybe it's a shame that there is no way to use the science. (Or maybe I played too shortly and didn't come to the place? I stopped with 7 pigs.) Well done, overall!

PS: I encountered this bug: The click update didn't cost anything and I could always buy it. That's a well misusable bug. And I see that I'm not the first one who discovered this...

Same as everyone else. I use Linux and tried to download the Linux version, but it doesn't work. Why don't you export it for HTML?

Great! The graphics are quite childish (but maybe that's the intention?) and I was confused from the typing system at first (I couldn't understand that I can also type letters in middle of the word and it counts, on the other hand retyping a valid letter leads to breaking something). But the critters are nice, the graphics aren't bad (if they were meant to be childish, and I believe they were) and the game contains quite a lot of mechanics if considering the time limit of the jam. Excellent work, especially if this was your first game!

Nice! Honestly, these creative relaxing games aren't really for me, but that's not your fault. If your goal was creating a game for relaxation, then you made it! Some of the critters that you can create are hilarious. And I was a bit shocked when I found out that the critters produce sh*t. :-)

Nice!‌ I created these four:

Wow! Such an awesome game! Such good mechanics and graphics! Such a thoroughly made game is the last thing that I would expect in a game jam with such a time limit. There are still some things to improve:

1) Why doesn't the game have an itch.io page? (But this is minor, not so important.)

2) You should have properly explained that you can press Q anytime to switch characters. It took me long to understand this. I restarted the game two times because I didn't understand it and thought that the game was bugged.

Otherwise, the game is brilliant! I liked:

1) The character-switching mechanics are cool! (You should have only explained it better.)

2) The graphics and the look of the critters are good.

3) The audio part of the game and the half-horror atmosphere were nice.

4) The game takes place in a quite big map with several locations.

5) I would consider points 1-4 nothing special if this was a paid triple-A game. How did you manage to create such a masterpiece in nine days? That's incredible!

This game might win the jam.

PS: Your game uses the Button Smash and Rage Room wildcards. However, I didn't spot a quick-time-event or a rage room in the game. Does the game contain some secrets that I didn't find?

Nice rage game! I loved destroying objects and freeing the lizards. I only hoped to meet some enemies, too. The lack of them disappointed me a bit. I would also recommend to make the inscription "Press the spacebar" in the end QTE better visible and readable. I didn't catch it in my first play. But the controls and the destruction mechanics were really lovely. They would be even lovelier if used against enemies... Well done!

Good job! The absence of a score counter is a pity. However, the graphics aren't bad and the music fits to the game. Nicely done!

It's funny that this is already the second game that I've rated in this jam containing a squirrel and nuts. I've already rated Forest Foraging and now this. Why are squirrels and nuts so popular? :-)

Nice game! I missed background music, you should add it next time. But the controls were nice and intuitive. Well done, overall!

Thanks for the comment! Yes, I would also like to make the game longer, but the deadline is a limit...
