Hah! No worries. Happens when you decide to play some more game jam entries at 2am instead of sleeping XD

And that's with a preloaded box so the game ran smoother on the browser!
There was an instruction that shows for a few seconds, but our progress counter kinda overshadows it during the transition and it's immediately replaced by the multiplier counter, so definitely needs some tweaking. Also during some initial testing it felt like it ran a bit too long, so we trimmed it down, perhaps too much.
Appreciate the feedback! Thanks for playing!
Thanks! Appreciate it!
Yeah we weren't quite sure what else to call the ability since it really only tied into the QTE. That said, with how we structured the game, you can actually press it outside of the QTE. Don't worry, you can't cheese the counter. I made sure to address that by resetting the counter when the QTE starts ;)
Thanks for playing!
Glad you had fun!
I agree. With our previous jam experience(s), we were concerned about scope creep and realistic, achievable features based on our somewhat limited familiarity with Godot. I think if we decide to continue developing the game, incorporating some enemy to beat up would be a great addition.
Regarding the QTE, that's another area we need fine tune a bit more it seems.

For our QTE, we wanted the transition to be rather quick (a la Warioware) to keep the action going, but I agree there's room for improvement. The "rage" effect and "Lizards freed" counter persisting to the QTE didn't help either.
As for the horses, it was a late, hasty add as part of an ongoing joke within our group, so not surprising it's buggy.
Appreciate the feedback!
Thanks for playing our game! Glad you enjoyed it!
Good note about the box gibs. It was our first go at having a lot of physics based objects. Unfortunately, thanks to a bug with HTML builds and our audio stream player, our testing was limited so we didn't get a chance to fine tune the gibs. Definitely will keep that in mind in the future. Thanks!
