Hah! No worries. Happens when you decide to play some more game jam entries at 2am instead of sleeping XD

Fantastic visuals! Great use of the palette. Well done!

Admittedly, I missed the early cozy magic gate and ended up spending way too much time shuffling candles one by one,

Fun game! Enjoyed rolling my acorn around. Great pacing with incremental bonuses.

I gave my shroom some big legs to dominate my surroundings! Very neat idea with the "draw-to-adapt" approach.

Adorable little splurts. The sound design had me giggling.

Thanks! LIZAAAARD

At one point I hit the flow state and started dropping animals like I was a T-800 or something! Very fun! Didn't even realize I could get upgrades so I could shoot with even MORE lethality!

Neat twist on solitaire!

And that's with a preloaded box so the game ran smoother on the browser!

There was an instruction that shows for a few seconds, but our progress counter kinda overshadows it during the transition and it's immediately replaced by the multiplier counter, so definitely needs some tweaking. Also during some initial testing it felt like it ran a bit too long, so we trimmed it down, perhaps too much.

Appreciate the feedback! Thanks for playing!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

Smooth controls ands overall gameplay. That platforming gave a good challenge!

Some additional sound feedback for events like damage, jumping, etc. would be a nice touch.

That's for sure! Thanks!

LIZARDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!

Ended up with a bit of jank layout, but once I got situated, I had a blast laying the block rocking beats!

Excellent game for a first timer! Lots a of polish!

The added challenge of aiming from bee-hind was neat!

Fun beat 'em up! Love the idea!

The random spawn of swarms of enemies really had me on my toes.

Glad you enjoyed it! We're certainly considering fleshing the game out. As with most jams, there were some things we simply left out.

Thanks for playing!

Nice retro platformer! Loved the Smash-esque elements with the Announcer voice + Break the Targets minigame.

Oh my god it's so dumb I love it!

I wish there was a randomizer. I quickly gave up customizing my critters because I got overwhelmed with poop

I wept when my bestest boys fell in battle. 10/10

CARNAGEEEEE!

Neat game!

Mischief managed.

Lots of stuff to interact with! Great fun!

Glad you enjoyed it!

I agree that the audio for that effect could be more impactful. It was a late add.

Thanks for playing!

Lizard In Zany Action Room Destruction

Just kidding! I just made that up off the top of my head. We weren't quite sure what to call it without giving too much away.

Thanks for playing!

We definitely wanted to juice the game up. Glad to see it pay off. Thanks for playing!

(LIZARD)

More levels for sure! There's always more destruction to be had.

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!

When in doubt, lizard it out. Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

Yeah we were a bit all over the place with our art. We didn't have one set person doing art. The horses are an Easter Egg from the game jam we all previously partook.

Appreciate the feedback! Thanks for playing!

Thanks! Appreciate it!

Yeah we weren't quite sure what else to call the ability since it really only tied into the QTE. That said, with how we structured the game, you can actually press it outside of the QTE. Don't worry, you can't cheese the counter. I made sure to address that by resetting the counter when the QTE starts ;)

 Thanks for playing!

I still miss a lizard every couple of runs or so just from all the chaos! Glad you had fun! Thanks for playing!

Mission accomplished.

Thanks!

Glad you had fun!

I agree. With our previous jam experience(s), we were concerned about scope creep and realistic, achievable features based on our somewhat limited familiarity with Godot. I think if we decide to continue developing the game, incorporating some enemy to beat up would be a great addition.

Regarding the QTE, that's another area we need fine tune a bit more it seems.

Thanks for playing! Appreciate the feedback!

I think the tongue lash might be a bit OP, but in a game this style, it's hella fun and satisfying! Glad you thought so as well!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!

For our QTE, we wanted the transition to be rather quick (a la Warioware) to keep the action going, but I agree there's room for improvement. The "rage" effect and "Lizards freed" counter persisting to the QTE didn't help either.

As for the horses, it was a late, hasty add as part of an ongoing joke within our group, so not surprising it's buggy.

Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks for playing our game! Glad you enjoyed it!

Good note about the box gibs. It was our first go at having a lot of physics based objects. Unfortunately, thanks to a bug with HTML builds and our audio stream player, our testing was limited so we didn't get a chance to fine tune the gibs. Definitely will keep that in mind in the future. Thanks!

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!

Enjoyed tearing rooms apart trying to yeet the creeters. Chuckled at the idea of Monarch butterflies being as formidable as a Black Widow.

Neat mechanics. Had fun climbing the ranks of critter social media. Loved the soundtrack too!

Neat game! A bit challenging at first, but once I realized fire solves most of my problems, I was able to progress!

Fun RTS-like game! Enjoyed amassing my horde of rats. Cheese for the cheese god!
