Nice level design and well-balanced difficulty that made it fun to strategize. Imagine my surprise when I learned the hard way that the enemy can in fact too cleave my guys. Quite well designed to make the player think about their moves and discourage trying to brute-force everything.

Amazing! I love the tile based combat and how each different dragon is unique, especially the axe! I would definitely buy a longer version of this game from steam and play it for 4 hours straight.

A solid proof of concept! I love kobolds and being able to fight for rather than against them was a real treat. There is potential for a great positioning-based strategy game here. This game would be really great if developed further. Character sprites looked very nice and readable, and the controls were quick to learn. Great work!

Super fun game! Very unique puzzle style rpg, great work, especially for a first jam game! I would maybe add a visual for turn order, since it was kind of hard to plan some turns without knowing who was moving next but that's the only thing, hope you keep up the great work.

Great first game, it has the bones of a full game. I would add an auto end turn once all movement and attacks are done, but that is just me. Keep up the good work.

Such a fun game! I did run into a bug where I couldn't progress anymore when the enemy killed the unit I was about to take control of and there's no way to skip at that point. But other than that, awesome game, really enjoyed it!

I like tactics games a lot, and this was fun to explore :)
There is a lot of clean up/quality of life changes you can do here. For example, UI indicating movement range, walking back and forth shouldn't be 2 moves but just refund your moves count etc. More interesting characters and moves are of course would be most interesting, but then again it's a jam game so lack of content is somewhat expected.
But excited to see how you would continue developing this!

Super cool to make a turn-based squad tactics game! The controls were nicely presented, the abilities were intuitive and varied, and the whole game was short and sweet. Really liked it. Very impressive for a first jam entry!

THAT WAS SO FUN! accessible, straight forward, a bit of strategy too, and the controls are really satisfying!
just a thing to note: I played in browser and after 3 lvls I got a close up on the egg, is it supposed to hatches here? is it the end of the game? The back arrow's not working (same for the credit page) and nothing is happening :/
EDIT: IT WASN'T A BACK ARROW, IT WAS THE "ENTER" ICON! good I didn't close nor refresh the page! my new master is really really cute!

A really cool blend of Fire Emblem and Baldur's Gate mechanics, with some unique stuff as well! I adore these kinda games, had a lot of fun! :>

This game was delightful. As a major kobold fan, I instantly had an emotional attachment to my characters and so it was extra fun. The turn-based strategy was very well done, and I loved the range of weapons, and the fact that the enemy units shared the same abilities so you could easily predict what they were able to do. If you made a longer version I would love to play it!

Loved the idea of this game. I could have been going on and on if there was more levels. Really great art and nicely put together game! I can see this game with more characters and actions become something amazing!
