I thought that the gameplay and mechanics felt really thought out and I liked the music a lot. I did feel a bit overwhelmed by the amount of text sometimes but not being part of the target audience for such a game may be a factor. :P Nice job!

Game Description
Build a deck to gain increasing control over a chaotic stock market and profit!
How does your game tie into the theme?
The stock market can be a chaotic thing to wrestle with - especially these days - but there are many things people do to tip the scales in their favor and conquer the chaos. This card game tries to capture those strategies and that feeling.

gameplay, SOUNDTRACK!!! (out of time and stay with me made me so happy), Mechanics, vibes, this game is amazing i was streaming it for my friend and me and him both started playing for over an hour. PLEASE continue this project and put it on steam you have something awesome here!!!!!!!
The idea and implementation are great, but I guess stock exchange is not my cup of tea, i grew a bit bored after the first week, but still, good job!
Love the concept and ended up playing it way too long! :D
You really captured the vibe of how I imagine the stereotypical day of a successful day trader. trading the news, playing your cards right while listening to Japanese City Pop. :D
triangle. then only buy/sell diamond for the rest of the run.
. I had lots of +600k% buydiscounts or sales on the next trade. At a point i couldnt discard cards anymore because the numbers where so big that the ui expanded out of view to the leftMy networth was this in the end.
I found a bug: selling x diamonds with bad news the next day, is playable when you have 0 diamonds and buys x diamonds with bad news tomorrow.
It was lots of fun, great game. contest winner imo :)
Wow thanks so much for playing and taking the time to write this out! I really appreciate it! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much and found some fun in the strategy. That's definitely the highest net worth I've seen, even amongst our play testing! Appreciate the bug report too, I've made a note to take a look at that. Stay tuned as we're looking into taking this game to the next level over the coming weeks/months. Thanks again!
For our updates to this, we'll be redesigning from the ground up! We had a lot of (I think) really cool ideas we had to cut because of jam time limitations, a messy codebase with a bunch of limitations, and a lot of this sort of evolved as the week went on. We leaned towards making the cards too strong and making the shop cheap so that players could feel their deck was "broken" (in a good way) quickly and experience a lot of the cards since jam play sessions are usually short. We want to strike a "balanced challenge" for the redesign, something that lets you build crazy combos (such as the one you shared!) but not quite as often/easily. Think Slay the Spire, Monster Train, or Balatro. Thanks again for your comments and feedback!
Love to hear it! Follow me here on Itch or on BlueSky (@cinderous.bsky.social) for updates! We're still early in our planning, but I'm building out some tools to help expedite the card creation process so we can hit the ground running as soon as we solidify some core ideas around the game. We would love to have people like you engaged in the early versions to help guide the direction of the game!
Nice work! I loved the variety of cards and the flavor text in the news display!
Buy high, sell low, right? The game was fun to play, I liked how the companies had their own identity and effect. Special mention for triangle CEO caught with other simple shapes!
There's a slight bug on an orange card that made me buy shares instead of selling them. Kept wondering why I was always so low on cash!
A very nice game overall. :)
Really fun game! I love the concept of mixing a card game with the stock market.
Very fun and smooth game. A great interpretation of the theme!
Lowkey the stock market stresses me out so much (i don't understand it) so was surprised how much time I spent playing this game! Also love the music you went with :)
This game was super addicting lost track of time playing this game great job
I have determined that I am better off playing stock market games than I am trying to time the real stock market. Fun game and well made
