I wasn't a fan of the controls for selecting/placing buildings but everything else was great! The game was genuinely a lot of fun, and it was satisfying pushing back the enemy and taking down their structures. Everything felt smooth and the graphics & music fit really well, nice entry!

Beautifully polished! This felt like a demo for a full blown game on Steam. I really liked the art style and the music, the gameplay itself was fun and unique while capturing some deckbuilder essence. Really really nice entry!

I think the other comments have covered my only criticisms, primarily the boss hit feedback - but you have something really cool here! The downgrade/curse application for decay was clever, I loved the "hat" animation/idea. Really nice work!

I dig the art style, the concept is fun and I like the theme application. The music and sounds are charming and it seems like it'd be fun. Hope you can fix the enemy's being stuck!

Really well executed breakout/brick breaker type game. Controls feel smooth and responsive (agree that adjustable sensitivity would have been a nice addition), love the art style, and the mechanics are well-introduced and fun. The application of the theme is great too, really well done!

Thanks for playing and commenting! It was indeed an upgrade, but I admittedly ran out of time before I could really playtest/gather feedback around those sorts of things, so I appreciate your feedback on the matter now it's definitely something I will take a look at.

Thanks!!

Thanks for playing and your kind words!

Thanks so much for taking the time to play and provide such detailed feedback!

  • Definitely a bug, thanks for bringing attention to this!
  • I admit this enemy was rushed as time crunched on me so I could definitely understand the frustration, I will be sure to add more cues to it.
  • This is a bit of a half-baked idea that I didn't get to fully flesh out - when you call the extract, it draws any remaining enemies towards to the exit room. I had a bit of performance issues with it so I had to curtail it and I never really revisited it to make sure it worked well/was fun.

Thanks so much!

Thanks for playing and your comment!

Solid platformer, I admittedly gave up on the "timing" level as I'm really not into these types of games and can find them frustrating, but that's more of a me thing. Graphics were nice, game felt really well polished. Really nice entry!

Love the look & feel, fun little challenge. Rocket jump felt pretty good. Great first entry!

Really tight gameplay loop that's truly fun! Love the art and the music, really polished overall. Throw in some enemy/level variations and some more upgrades and I could see this on Steam!

I had a bit of trouble as others, finding the passage to the next level, but I thought the graphics were charming and the idea was good. A good entry that's abit of polish away from a great one!

An interesting concept that'd be cool to see developed further! I had a hard time figuring out what to do as it stands, maybe some info in the description to help? None-the-less, the effort is clear and practice is practice. Great entry!

I'm a sucker for this type of game, it took a bit to get the hang of it but once I did I was hooked. It's well executed and some polish would do it wonders, great entry!

Unclear to me what the objective, it probably would benefit from a tutorial or description explanation; but the graphics are charming and the music fits well. It seems to have a nice level of polish

fun little shooter, gave me a good laugh here and there. A great first entry!

Love to see some SC references - I bet these were some fun mechanics to figure out/play around with would love to see this turned into a full blown game.

Really interesting art! Would like to see this more fleshed out!

Good catch - I tried to patch as many "holes" as I could in the half baked tutorial but it seems I missed one! Thanks for playing!

Haha, is it obvious I've been addicted to Arc recently? 😜 Thanks for playing and your comment! I do think I should have allocated more time to polish, but it was so hard to cut stuff!

I can definitely appreciate the lack of visibility for the bullet in hindsight, and it'll definitely be something I update post-jam. I like the idea of a death screen telling you what happened. Thanks for playing and your feedback!

I definitely could see it working as a horror! Thanks for playing and the comment!

Glad you enjoyed it thanks for playing!

Solid platformer - I think you accomplished what you described in your game page description - a playable experience with smooth movement, challenging hazards and satisfying platforming. Well done!

Great game! I really enjoyed this one, it's a solid TD game in it's own right but all the extra "survival" mechanics and space-station decaying stuff really added a great twist to the classic formula. Nicely polished to boot, fantastic entry!

This gave me quite the chuckle, the art is charming, the controls are solid and the gameplay is simplistic yet fun. Great entry!

A nice blend! I found it really difficult to do the shopping with the boss pestering me, but the concept was fun and I see a great base here!

Fun idea and pretty well executed! My first go at it, I wasn't paying attention to my ship fuel and I got stuck in slow-orbit with the satellite lol. Nice entry!

Thanks for playing and your feedback! I do wish I had allocated more time to finding/implementing sounds and I can see how the bullets are a little too small/subtle in the dark environment, thanks!

Couple small bugs pointed out by other reviewer, also would have liked WASD but other than that...awesome! I'm a sucker for these galaga-type games and this is well done! When the fuel gets down below ~1/4 it can feel bad as your shooting is sooooo slow you can't even kill the weakest enemy but everything else was pure fun! Love the roguelike twist, great job!

Pretty fun little game, I like the smooth graphics and theme application. The main character and the scythe are really cute. Controller definitely the way to go with this one.

I really liked this one! Gameplay feels a bit like pacman with a cool mechanic twist. On theme, nice art. It was unclear what the black crystals that dropped from warriors were for, and a little more UI for the ability being "ready" would have been appreciate - like a light or something beyond the number/count. I would check the "fullscreen" checkbox in your Edit Game page, as the way it renders now in the browser, it's a touch too tall for me on my 1080p monitors, so having the itch fullscreen button would help there. Overall really nice entry, great work!

I like the idea - I couldn't get the radio to repair. I'd get the wrench cursor, but clicking doesn't seem to make the % go up at all I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. That said I really like the atmosphere of this one, the gritty graphics and ambient noise are great. The first time the mutant got me the scream made me startle a little!

Really interesting blend! I like the art approach as well. Disappointed I only got to see a few cards :) Looking forward to seeing more, great entry!

Pretty fun little game - I saw the note that it was only 2 days and thus lacks polish and that's really my only criticism! Some noises/feedback for hitting bugs, buying upgrades, etc. The cost of upgrades wasn't clear, or if buying them multiple times did anything. I really like this idea though and with a little more polish I could see myself sinking some time into this on the couch. Great entry!

Thanks so much for playing and for your comment! I really appreciate the reports, I just fixed the tutorial issue as to not prevent people from progressing into the actual game, I very much appreciate it!

Thanks for playing and the bug report! Endless mode was a last minute add when I couldn't decide how many weeks to make the "main" game so I'm not terribly surprised I let this slip thru. Sorry you encountered it, I'll definitely remember to test this in our next release.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I agree the UI was a bit "busy", and that's even after I did some work to cut the text/numbers down a bit! A lot of the layout evolved without a plan, so it could have been better organized & more concise. Thanks for playing and the feedback!
