What a great and inventive work! The photography is truly excellent! Outstanding, really. Congratulations!

Very cool! Nice gamplay idea and the art is great! Congrats.

Thank you very musch, glad you liked it!

Tthanks, I'm glad you had fun!

It sure needs some fine-tuning! Thanks for playing and your kind words, very glad you liked it!

Thanks!

Thank you, I'm happy you found it fun!

Thanks, Mr. Squeaks!!

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!

Thank you very much!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

I used some public domain images and aplied to them this cool color palette using Aseprite. To the main menu image, I wanted a little extra distortion, so a also applied this shader from Godot Shaders. Thank you for playing and I'm gald you had fun!

Thanks for the feedback, it's a good idea. Glad you enjoyed it!

Hey, just played yours and it's very cool! Would love your feedback on mine too: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3848802

Cool game! The gameplay is quite smooth and the artwork is charming. Great work!

Hey, just played it and it's really cool! Love the vibe and the art, played a bunch of black jack. And the 2D/3D mixture in Godot was great. Congrats! Would love your feedback on mine too, also made with Godot.

Very cool game! The idea is very nice, the intro is great, the dogs are awsome and all games fell quite polished. Congratulations!

Muito obrigado! A IA ficou bastante basicona mesmo (e parece que mais mentirosa do que o planejado). Fico feliz que tenha gostado!

Thank you very much, Ashley! Glad you liked it.

Thank you very much for playing and your feedback!

Muito obrigado!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

It's a very cool entry for a first jam! But it's quite ambicious, and as I've learned from past Jams it's quite easy to get too big of a scope and end up missing some important details. Would love your take on mine too: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3848802

Hello TwoCube Studio! Really not a card game at all, but is a neat one! Would love to hear your thoughts on mine too.

It's quite simple, but very complete game. Feels polished too, looks good, with great feel from the animations on the character and sound effects. Congrats!

Hey ghpxi, I played it, and it's awesome! Really polished and lovely.
If you don't mind me asking, which engine did you use?

Awesome game! The art is amazing, the Angelo Badalamenti-style soundtrack is fantastic and the gameplay is quite fun! The AI is a bit defensive, which can make the advance a little slow, but of course given more develpment time and a greater variety of cards and effects, that's solved. And I love the noir cat theme. Congratulations!!

Hey voojay, it's not really a card game, but it's quite an ambitious project. Nice work! I left my feedback there and would love to hear yours on mine too!

The art style is cool and is an inventive take on the theme. I think some polish could help with the immersion (like some effects on transitions), but it is indeed an ambitious project for a jam. Congrats!

Hello, RealPotatoCat. I played and reached stage 11, and it's quite fun! The card effects are cool too. Congratulations on a great entry!

Quite a good entry! I got to stage 11. After a few runs, I decided to keep adding cards to one deck and applied some modifiers to it, and went the furthest. In one run, wanting to change strategy, I clicked fast in the deck. I think a bomb exploded while cards were in the air, and it crashed. But other than that, it run smoothly. A very complete game, quite polished, and fun gameplay that seems balanced. Congratulations!

Thanks for playing and for the suggestions, it's a interesting idea!

Hey, I played and it's great! A very creative take on card games and very well done and polished.

Oh my god, have I created Skynet!? 😂 In theory, the AI simply adds all cards in hand that match the current value to an array. Then, if it has any, it discards a random number of them, and only them. So, if it has the card, in theory, it should tell the truth. I was trying to create something more interesting at the end, with some different simple strategies, like aggressive or suspicious, but I did not have time and rolled back to the simple one. So it's not the most engaging opponent, but it should not be a filthy liar!
The current value is indeed small, and maybe the actual card image could be signaling instead of a small number?
Anyway, many thanks for the feedback and your kind words. I'm very glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you very much!

Very creative take on the theme. And the implementation is very polished. I had some fun discovering all the endings. Great work!

Lovely to see a 3D Godot game, and it reminds me of Hydroneer. It's a creative implementation of the theme, too. It runs quite smoothly, quite an achievement for a first jam and solo effort! The hold-to-carry mechanic can be tiresome and the bought items could spawn directly on the boat, but it's a very enjoyable experience overall. Congratulations!

Lucky for me, Alt + Enter worked! And it's indeed amazing what you accomplished in a Jam. The whole dungeon ambiance is great, from the color palette to the little insects running on the ground. The coin mechanic was a neat idea, and the turn-based combat is cool too. I like that it happens in the same space and not a cutscene. The fights are quite hard (I was squashed by that unexpected wall!), and respawning from zero can become frustrating over time. But nevertheless, it was quite enjoyable! And after the first problem, it ran perfectly. Congratulations!

Hello! I've made a card game for this Jam, and I've seen some others out there. Since there are quite a number of games, I would love to find out what else people have come up with in the card game world! So drop it here, and I'll check it out and leave some feedback/a rating. I’d also love to know what engine you’ve used.

Here's mine: Bluffing Biscuits, that I made using Godot and would be great to get some feedback! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3848802
