How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme through its core mechanic of risk-taking. Players must decide whether to keep digging for better loot or move on to another hole.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I did everything myself, no assets, no add-ons, just me and godot :D

Very cool idea! Loved the gameplay, although I didn't realise I couldn't find any treasure on the shop island for a while lol. Great job overall though, very awesome :)
Thank you! The shop island is your base and there's no holes. It's my fault that I didn't said that in the game.
Thanks for playing! <3
Yes, I figured it out eventually lol. No worries, good luck for your results!
I really like the aesthetic of your low poly models. The core of this game is solid and I can envision a more complete game in the future filled with items to purchase/mobs to slay or hide from/sundown timers and difficulties/more islands and loot locations/etc. You should totally continue working on it!
It’s just at the moment, there really isn’t a whole lot to risk or do… the biggest risk was the first dig on the island. The performance hit and lag spike spawned a skeleton and I lost 70 HP unavoidably. Also, don’t be like me and turn in your bag full of loot to the money collector… you won’t get paid for the value of the stuff inside your bag, just the bag itself. RIP my loot.
Thanks so much for the detailed feedback!
Really happy you liked the low poly look and the core idea. I’d love to expand it with more items, challenges, and islands in the future.
Sorry about the skeleton spawn and the bag issue, I’ll definitely fix it in the future.
Thanks for playing! <3
It's very impressive that you were able to make all of this by yourself and only in 7 days! Great work!
Thank you! I could even say in 6 days because I didn't have motivation nor energy in the end haha
Thanks for playing! <3
Rated :)
Don't forget to give our game a try aswell!

Of course! I'll play your game soon :D
Overall a very nice game, the mechanics were nicely done, really good ideas and I love the work on the models ^^ Good job!!
Thanks a lot! I’m really glad you enjoyed the mechanics and the models.
Thanks for playing!
Really cool game. I'd probably buy something like this if it were fleshed out and multiplayer to dig on the beach with friends.
A couple pain points:
* As others said, the lag. I'm sure that's something that can be fixed.
* I had to order items with a bag otherwise they'd bounce off into the ocean. It would be nice if they had reduced bounciness when getting air dropped.
* (Not really pain) You are allowed to take the items from the tutorial into the rest of the game which lets you skip most/all the progression
I liked the skeleton model. Very nice. Nearly gave me a heart attack when I took it back on the boat and it arrived standing up right next to me!
Thanks for your feedback! I'm happy to hear that you would buy my game if it was more polished and multiplayer :D
About your "pain points" I totally agree. The lag can be fixed, items from the box are sometimes too bouncy and that you can take items from the tutorial is just lol.
The tutorial was made in 5 minutes so I didn't think that items can be taken with you, I forgot about that.
I'll try to change those things in the next update (if I even plan to do it...)
Thanks for playing my game!
I really like your implementation of the theme But GAWD DAMN those lags on the tutorial, The digging mechanics were really cool
YEA I KNOW! There are some lags in the tutorial because it loads gpuparticles. I didn't optimize it for html5, sorry for that :(
Thanks for playing!
Good game!
You've done a great job for your first jam , Its really surprising that you made this all alone , not using assets is pretty rare in game jams so you should be proud of yourself for that.
The idea fits the theme pretty well too and I think it have potential. Also I like the inventory system, and how you need to buy a bag to carry your items around.
Things that will make your game better:
- Fixing the lag problem when particles happen for the first time.
- Make the items (more importantly the tools) fixed when the player holds them since they are kinda hard to use especially the shovel , its hard to dig or fight when the shovel keeps moving around.
Thank you! Personally, I don't like using assets even if they are free, so I make everything myself from scripts to models. I'm happy to hear that you like the inventory system, even if it tiring sometimes. I have in mind to fix the lag issues and carrying tools.
Thanks for your feedback and for playing my game! <3
This is super impressive for a solo-built 3D jam game, holy hell! I really like the searching and digging mechanics, and I found it really funny that there was a phone box shop on a remote island for some reason :D
THANK YOU! I didn't know how you can order things on an island so I thought of a phone booth for some reason lol.
Thanks for playing! <3
Fun concept and great entry, especially for your first jam! Loved the wonky physics!
Thank you! Really glad you had fun with it :D
Thanks for playing!
I wasn't able to figure out how to actually dig a hole, but I didn't have tons of time to try and tbf it's probably a skill issue. Also, don't beat yourself up to badly in the main itch page, first jams are the biggest hurdle and yours looked really solid! Most devs never ever put anything out there, so getting this far is super cool. Congrats on the first entry, I hope you stick with the godot games!
Thanks a lot for the kind words!
First jam was a huge step for me, and I’m really glad I managed to finish something and share it.
I’ll keep going with Godot for sure and I don't plan on changing the engine any time soon :D
Thanks for playing!
A fun game, I really enjoyed the core loop. I found it a little confusing when buying objects. Pretty impressive for 1 person and no premade assets. Congrats!
Thanks!
Happy you enjoyed the core loop, I’ll work on making buying clearer next time.
Thanks for playing
I liked that you can suck items in by just swooping the bag over them
LMAO. Calling this game a sea of thieves at home is an insult to sea of thieves lol
This game is really fun. I think the main issue would be the inventory managment. Yes, I see that part of the gameplay plays around that with those bags, the small one and after a while the big one. But, I felt that managing inventory keeps me away of the main mechanic which is the most fun, the searshing and digging.
Still excelent submission. Good job!
By the way, please play my game hehe!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I totally understand what you mean about the inventory, it’s meant to be part of the challenge with the bags, but I can see how it might sometimes get in the way of the digging, which is the most fun part.
I’ll definitely think about how to balance that better in the future. Really happy you enjoyed the core mechanic though, and I’ll make sure to give your game a try too.
Thanks for playing!
Great idea! Very creative. I think it’s good. I just would have liked some background music.
Thanks! I agree with you :D I know that background music would change the vibe and it's my fault I didn't add it.
Thanks for playing!
Pretty solid overall! I think the gameplay pace is very slow and kind of tedious to manage everything, but I did enjoy wacking my mouse at things with the shovel. It’s very much in the “not my genre” category though so I can’t fault you for that. With some qol upgrades and a faster loop though I could totally see this being something, but having to manually drag everything one by one (or in and out of a bag) just eats up a lot of the time. For your first ever game, in high school especially, you’re off to a great start though! Definitely don’t be discouraged, this is a really strong effort :)
Thanks for your feedback! I agree with you that the game isn't dynamic and it is very slow, because this is just digging holes with not much loot. Maybe in the future it could be something more than that, but I'll have to consider updating it.
Thanks for playing!
It was really a nice experience. Very unique and polished, and the graphics are pretty nice aswell. Definitively something you should be proud of, keep it up!
THANK YOU! I'm not really proud of this project because I KNOW that I could have done much more, but if you say soooo <333
Thanks for playing!
I found carrying the tools, particularly the shovel, a bit fiddly, but the equipment system as a whole worked really well with a solid upgrade path. The tutorial was nice and easy to understand, the graphics were elegant, overall it felt very polished considering it is your first game jam and the time constraints you had to work to. Well done!
Thank you! Yeah, the shovel can definitely feel a bit fiddly at times, because in the script I had to play with some quaternion values or something like that, idk what even quaternions are lol. The tutorial was made in 5 minutes, so it’s great to hear that it worked out.
Thanks a lot for the kind words and thanks for playing!
Fantastic visuals ✅
Interesting idea ✅
Crab ✅
Love the project. Very impressive from a one person team. Great work!
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that you like my game! And you have a crab in your game too haha :D
Thanks for playing!
Lovely models they are very high quality, the sounds are nice but I wish for music, the tutorial is nice everyone (me included) abandon tutorials then regret it. I wonder why it lags in the tut tho. also I love how hold-able everything is. like you have to physically hold them
Thank you! The game lags and freezes in the tutorial because when you're close to the hole or try to dig it, it's loading 3D particles that weren't loaded before.
Thanks for playing!
