I'm glad you enjoyed it! I expected people to have to open the recipe list to figure out what to do. I'm really glad that it seems intuitive enough to experiment a little.
Thanks for playing!
Oh good point! I don't think we set any limits on the camera, so you can zoom in/out as far as Godot will let you. You can probably also pan the camera around infinitely far. We're hoping to continue developing the game after we take a break, so I added this to out TODO list to make sure we get this fixed before we do any more work.
Thanks for playing and glad you had fun!
I had an absolute blast. Took me a little while to figure out what the heck was going on, but that didn't bother me. The particles and sounds were really fun and I was just having a good time running over other shoppers and crashing into things. 10/10, would crash into a shelf and end up spinning chaotically again!
Oh this game is just so good! I loved the art style, loved the characters (Rutabaga Flam is my favorite), and loved the game! The controls felt really unique to me. I haven't played a game like it!
Also the donuts level might be a little too easy. I eventually got board and left the circle after 3 minutes of spinning around.
Level 3 was a bit of a jump in difficulty. New type of recipe you haven't done yet and the general difficulty went up as well. I'm really not sure what the psychology was behind it, but we also had that problem. We would buy an ingredient and grab the bin instead. We did take a lot of steps that made that issue less frequent tho. Thanks for playing! Your game was fun!
Fun game! We really like the art! Is it original???
Sometimes the leash broke and I wasn't sure why. Left click didn't seem to do anything to shorten the leash and I'm a little confused about that. Mostly I just felt like the dog was throwing me wherever he wanted and I was just doing my best to keep it together, which was a really fun experience!
Neat game! I like the art style. It's very simple bit gets the point across! I do wish it would get a little more chaotic. I didn't understand how to utilize the seeds I could buy from the shop. It seemed I was only available to buy a few at a time, but I don't think I made any more money from them? Otherwise, I had fun just planting and selling the default seeds.
I thought this game was really cool. I think the balancing/ramp up could use a bit of tinkering. The game seems to start off incredibly difficult. When an enemy spawns, I found it to be nearly impossible to kill it before taking significant damage. I died multiple times on the first moon and had to keep restarting until I accumulated enough upgrades to survive. Then, suddenly my orbit speed got high enough that no enemy could ever touch me and suddenly there was no challenge at all.
I think, in my opinion, that the first moon should be easier (though it's possible I'm just having a skill issue). I also would like some difficulty to continue ramping up as I upgrade so the game doesn't get too easy. Maybe in the later moons there's occasional special enemies that move faster? There's a chance that the game is intended to be idle and if that's the case, ignore that idea!
