A very clever twist on Portal's side mechanic of gaining inertia through endless falling! Very good use of lighting. It's an overall very solid entry for the Game Jam.

The only think it irks me is that the turrets seem to be there to punish the player from not moving, but sometimes they get in the way fo solvin the puzzle. Once the player gains some inertia is really hard to dodge bullets effectively and you end up relying on luck to get to the end. I would have added some speed to the bullets to effectively meet the goal of keeping the player moving without interfering with the inertia mechanic.

Still, you got full points for Game Design, because balance is hard and the game is really good for a Game Jam.

Hope to see more games from you :)

Thank you!

I understand the turrets have been the "annoying" part of the game, but it is what makes it difficult at times. Since I had 3 days to work and only one day of polish It was hard to find a good balance for the turrets as sound and music took most of my time. Currently there is a full game planned with more levels and polish.

Now I'm thinking in portals again. Simple graphical style which fits to the general theme, and the sounds were good as well even though most were "from you mouth and things around the house" :D Good stuff.

Developer

Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed the game. The sounds honestly took most of my time to do with lots of recording and editing

I plan to create a full game with more levels and more polish.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

I use my mic and made weird sounds and swooshes and edited them together to make sounds that worked, was quite a process to do and took up most of my time

Really solid simple mechanic that you get creative with. Love the level design, the art style and the player controller. Overall great game.

Very fun game to play and it was very polished. Now I see why it's the top rated game right now lol

Developer(+1)

Thank you and I never knew I could ever make it to that spot, But I'm happy I did and wish the best of luck to the other games as they need recognition as well!

The first thing I notice is the sound on the main menu for hovering the buttons, I liked that. I liked the mechanic and the feed back of when the player can destroy the wall with the white lines you have. I found it interesting that you could also kill the turrets with enough speed as well - that was cool. I thought that without the speed dying to them was fine when you touch them but the hit box for you to die if you hit them is bad. I wasn't near the turrets when falling sometimes and I'd die to them not from the bullet but the hitbox of the turret it self. I liked the game it was fun - thank you.

Developer

Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate the feedback as I can add this to the notes for things to do in the full game!

I love the game i haven't seen this being done in this jam yet, good job on the idea! ( i love the chell skin at the end of the game :p )

Developer

Thank you! Glad you liked the ending :P

Amazing game!! It has great and unique mechanics that really emphasize the use of "holes". Audio can be a bit more "jumpy" just to make the ambient more exciting. But overall it's too good for a jam game. Nice work!
