Wow the graphic was really good. The gameplay was pretty fun with the pull/push mechanics. What was for me terrible was the amount of text to scroll click through to get to the game. You should really incorporate it into the game over time rather than hit the player with all that reading at once. Overall good game ;)

I find the story and the graphics unique! Please do some work on the controls, when climbing up the platforms the player has no force and get's nearly stuck when moving. Perhaps consider to let the player have a free cursor too, it's kind of frustrating only having a circle control over the mouse cursor. But that's only my opinion. Overall nice game.

Music fits the game well.

I think you have a great game here! I wish the mouse was free instead of locked to a radius around Brutus. Great idea with the grapple hook and cool animations. Also, if he runs to the left it's as if he is running backwards hehe

Good job with art and music, also kudos on picking brutus as protagonist. wish controls were better, they felt rigid and walking animation also didn't felt like walking. Well deserved 5 on audio.

I randomized and landed upon it, totally worth it , music was awesome, also when face in one direction you can still go in other direction without facing to that direction and animation play for direction i which your face is like you are facing left but you can still go right without looking right and animation plays like you are going left  i think that's an issue but i liked it  makes a effect like moonwalking🤣🤣

Developer(+1)

Brutus is doing moonwalk and superhero landing in this game. Totally calculated easter eggs :D

Jokes beside, I'm happy you see that way :D Than you!

please consider checking out mine too😁😁

Cool concept of a game! Love the art direction of the game, but the animations can be improved, also the collision could be improved, a few improvements and the game can be really good! Good Job!
I love Roman History so It's always fun to see games made on Roman figures!

Developer

Thank you! Since the time was limited we had to shorten the frames of the animation. Although, we really like that Brutus is moving in a.. unique way :P

We also like the history and inspired by Dante's Inferno. I'm glad you like it :)

Submitted(+1)

I really like the atmosphere. Adding story and background is quite unique in jam games so big + for that. Mouse control feels wierd but its possible to use to it. :)

Developer

Thank you for your kind comment. Since the theme inspired by Dante's Inferno, we had to explain in way that player can understand and relate with the gameplay.

I'm loving it! BTW I'm the 20th voter, so now you have a winning shot.

Really nice graphics.

I hope you like my game too!

Developer(+1)

I appreciate the amount of lore and art you put into the game! The amount of thought and effort you put into the atmosphere definitely shows!

Greatly appreciated kind words; particularly the story part. It's been really fun searching and reading all materials about our main source Inferno

Thank you for your feedback! I've checked  yours. The explosion animations are so cool and the end was very unexpected. But i wish you could work on the main characters a little bit more. Good job anyway :)

Love the setup of the game, though the push and pull mechanic felt a bit unresponsive at times. Needs a bit polish, but seems good already!

Developer

Thanks! Since this is our first game, we lack of experience and couldn't manage the time limit very well. Hopefully we can update a bit appealing version soon :)
