pretty difficult game! felt like i was wandering around relatively aimlessly. still really enjoyed the flashlight (limited) visual. good job!

Controls were a bit weird at first but got a hang of it later! Pretty nice concept mechanic idea :) i also loved the sprites you made! The lighting and ambiance did the trick! I wish the game had a better tutorial and the climbing controls were easier to use :) but great job regardless! Nice one :)

Couldnt get out. The controls were weird but i think the thing that bugged me really was the camera. Seemed bugging and when you jumped you couldnt see where you are landing, making a simple task really hard. Really liked the wall climb and the sprites though!

I cannot find way out. Controls are little weird too it made sometimes big jump sometimes small. Maybe fix camera also. Overall  decent game.

can u play mine as well https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-2/rate/552268

There is a way out. But its very hard.Controls are meant to be like that.

I was a little lost, didn't quite know what to do, and died drinking a potion... That sounds like an intentional bug to me ahahhaha

Nice job.

Developer

yeah Its random eighter your health will increase or decrease. Its hard.

love the underground atmosphere you created. The lighting really helps to sell it. Visuals are great. good job.

Fun little game with nice lighting, art, and camera. Well done!

Love the style and the random effect on almost everything, but man the game's hard ! :)

Are the jump heights random as well ? hard to move because of that and because of the camera's damping, leaving the player outside of view sometimes, should be better with the player centered on the screen to view and anticipate the level. Also music and sounds are a bit toneless, could be more juicy.

But given the short timing, overall good game ! Have you used the new 2D lighting for the torch ?

Yeah everything is random in the game except movement. Game is really hard not one of my friend was able to complete it.

Good atmosphere! nice lighting! With more polished controls and camera movement this could turn out into a pretty interesting game ^^ good job!

This is a good start. I really liked the character and art. Some feedback, the jumping sound is cute, but it needs to be less intrusive. It is a jump and wall grab game afterall, so you hear it a lot.

Developer

when I play in now, I also think the jumping sound is a bit annoying.

Developer

*was not able to complete it.

Nice game I like the atmosphere and the vibe. The jumping is a tad annoying but I liked jumping from place to place! Check out my game if you get the chance I mean you are  a Caterpillar with a handgun what's not to like!?!

Developer

Thanks bro.

Very good, I really like the aesthetics during the gameplay. The effects (especially when you jump) are a bit annoying. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks.
