That was really cool, that music was amazing and surprisingly fits this game very well! The text at the start was very slow though.

The camera movement and zoom makes the combat feel so alive and active. Great work!
I like pretty much everything about this game. The "Ho" sound when he jumps, the funky music and of course, the bullet-time/action-jackson you get when you kill enemies sometimes!
I lost my s*** when the camera panned in as santa let out a hearty "merry christmas" while busting someone's kneecap
and for that reason this is a five star game

I think the core game loop is alright, though I feel like the way it's currently designed the best way to get a good score isn't engage in fighting. but instead stand on one of the baubles and wait until enough people have gathered underneath, because they can then be defeated pretty easily as one group rather than individuals who all steal your presents.
It's a great start of a game, all I think it needs is refinement to be amazing :3 Cute art too!
Edit: and I agree with all about the zoom in and "merry xmas"
I absolutely agree with you.
Once I got one of my friends to playtest it, he immediately did the strategy to stand on top of the bauble and accumulate enemies below hahaha! I chose not to remove that feature though because I wanted the arena to be more than just a flat area and for the player to have a fallback option in case they got too overwhelmed, that'd initially be in the form of an area-of-effect attack but I didn't have the amount of time necessary, so the easiest option that I thought of was for the baubles to stay

Great game! I thought it would be some kind of jumping puzzle but then the drums came in!
