Want more of a challenge? Here are some modifiers we’ve come up with in case you want to spice it up! These won’t get you any extra points, they’re just there as extra prompts for a bit of fun. Feel free to do as many/little/none as you like:

Xephos and Honeydew Modifier -

Make a game that involves digging! Don’t dig too deep though!

Caveblazers Modifier

Live. Die. Repeat. Will would love it if you made a roguelike!

Brunch Club Modifier -

Chris and Alastair want you to make a game for 2-4 players to play for some local coop action!

Sips Modifier -

Game about garbage

Hat Films Modifier -

Make a game that requires 3 people to control one character

Sharky and Palp Modifier -

You carry some dead weight around with you constantly. It serves no purpose, but you must always get to the end with it. (Think companion cube from portal)

High Rollers Modifier -

Make a game that uses a twenty sided-die in some way. Bonus points for special effects on a Natural 20!

Barry Modifier -

Harry wants you to go back in time! Can you give your game the visual stylings of the 80’s with the Vaporwave theme?

Nina Modifier -

*Nuzzles* Can you make your game look as UwU as possible?

Editors Modifier -

FMV - Can you make a Full Motion Video game? Use your camera skills to show the editors your storytelling abilities!

Vidiots Modifier -

Make a game set in Stoke-on-Trent

2 Girls 1 CPU Modifier -

It’s time to go 8-bit! Use only pixel art, Original gameboy colour pallet and 8-bit sounds!

Foleyship Modifier -

Can you make a game where all of the sounds are made by your voice or items around you?

Have fun!

We’re delighted to have you join us for this jam, and cannot wait to see what you come up with. We hope you have a great time and look forward to playing your game!
