Great job on creating the atmosphere, I loved the transition when switching back in time you nailed it! Controlling the character felt a little off to me, but nothing crazy, I though everything else was on point! This was a joy to play!

I think this is a game jam master piece. You nailed so much in the little game. The atmosphere was beyond me. The music mixed so well the the art it just made the game come to life! I'm not even sure what to say. The game was beyond any jam submission I think I've played so far. If only I got to see the end. I just could pass the last level...
I believe you can improve on the background of the game a bit after the jam. Though the art fit really well, I feel as if it can be polished a bit more: trees blowing in the wind, trash rolling on the ground. Your game really banks off of atmosphere and it would be cool to see you take it all the way with it. Awesome submission...
Really cool game. I like how the art and music support the story telling, that was really neat.
The jump physics was a little floaty, and I sometimes got stuck/slid off corners. The little bit of slowmo when you shift dimensions was a really nice touch.
Concept is good.
Switching back and forth during jumps was tricky and interesting.
My complaints:
-The game feels lifeless. Some more things moving, some juice additions would be nice.
-The character doesn't have an idle animation. That would have really added some life to the game.
-The character and ledge collision cause me to slide off from time to time.
-A jump that changes it's distance based on how long you hold the button is nice, but I didn't really use it. I just held down the jump to its fullest duration for just about every jump. Thats either the fault of level design, or the jump itself needing tweaking.
Otherwise:
I like the mechanic, the aesthetic, the story, and the music/sound.
Pretty cool concept! The graphics and sounds are nice. The level design could be improved though because sometimes I was just guessing where the platforms in the other world are. Otherwise, nice work ;)
Really cool interpretation of the theme, unique and original!
I got up to Level 9 : Staircase to heaven ( I always die at THE LAST JUMP LITERALLY hahahahha)
It was really fun. The mechanics are well done.
I also loved the music.
This is a 5/5 FULL STARS for me
I'd love to know what do you think of my game! :D
Man, that was really really fun to play. The plataforms at the end were slippery and felt injust, but was a ton of fun to play anyways.
Wow , the game idea was very good , cool story , music is great , design didnt disturb me too bad because of the fact that you had a week . I really liked it and I found small problems like the time change transition was feeling laggy and the player still had the mask on when he was in the past :D
Fun game! Reminded me of "effect and cause" from titanfall 2. The platforming was a tad slippery which made the last couple levels really annoying but otherwise it was really good. The atmosphere was really good!
Excellent work! The shifting-between-worlds mechanic is an awesome way to go “there and back”, and I especially like how the music changes to fit the past and present. The levels are pretty fun, but the leaps of faith started to get a little frustrating by level 8, and even more so on level 9. Also, I thought the radioactive platforms were harmful at first.
Besides that, this game is very good, the story draws me in (with heartbreak!), and you definitely nailed the theme.
If you’ve got the time, I’d appreciate it if you checked out and rated my game, Busy Mind! It’s also a platformer, and it’s got some chill vibes :)
