Cool game! The puzzles were fun and the glasses were a cool mechanic. I also enjoyed the voice acting and aesthetics. Good job! :D
Thanks for playing! We appreciate the feedback!
I thought the puzzles were quite nice and I really liked the aesthetic and saw vibes. The sound design for when you solve the puzzles is a nice addition too.
Thanks for playing! Yeah, we had fallen behind on a story thing and so when we got further into the jam we decided to pay homage to Saw haha.
I like the puzzles, good job!
Thanks for playing!
Puzzles were really well made , mechanics were unique. One drawback is that game is pretty long (30 minutes)
Nice submission overall
Thanks for playing, but actually, that was just a timer for story aesthetics. The game was beaten by multiple people in less than 5 minutes. There's only 3 real puzzles.
I confess that I couldn't solve the lever puzzles, but the first door I interacted with made me jump out of my chair and that was already worth it lol
Congratulations on the project, if I figure out how to get past the levers I'll try to play more!
Thanks for playing! The lever puzzle is technically the last one. The clue to each puzzle is written on the walls. If you want me to be more specific DM me so I don't spoil things for others.
Good puzzles and sound design !)
Thanks for playing! Most of the sound effects were taken from ZapSplat and Matthew wrote the music and jingle for when the puzzles are solved.
This was great! The puzzles were fun, and I liked the glasses mechanic. I loved the Saw vibe to the whole thing. The sound was also really good, and I really loved the sound when you finish puzzles. It's a really cool idea! I love the incorporation of the theme too, it's well done! Only note I have on that in case y'all want to work on this more (without spoiling too much, hopefully): I got to the exit early as I was playing, and it was very rewarding when I saw it! There is a bit of a bug though--if you get too close to the button it doesn't seem to let you interact. I actually thought to myself that maybe I had to do some other stuff first, so I went through the game normally instead, which was still fun of course!
Awesome job on the game! :)
Thanks for playing! The music and the jingle played after the puzzle solving were both designed by Matthew. I found the issue with the exit button after the jam ended, but it's not super game breaking so I didn't try to fix it. And finding it super early is part of the whole "It's Been There All Along" theme.
Had 30 minutes to beat the puzzles, did it in 3 minutes, LOL
Thanks for playing! Yeah, you can actually do it in less than 1 because "It's Been There All Along," We didn't want to give too little time because it's a jam game.
Understandable, be sure to check out my game when you can
I somehow missed that one. I'll check it out, I haven't quite got through all of the ones I've wanted to yet.
very creepy. and great pazzles
Thanks for playing! ^_^
Oh, cool puzzles. I'm not sure if I bugged the book one or if you just made it so you don't need to do the last colour possibility but either way, cool game and cool puzzles. For some reason the lever puzzle stopped me for a minute.
Good work! :)
Thanks for playing! There should be 4 books. When you pick one up you can place it between the bookends. When you have another book, you can swap it with the one you are carrying. It *should* require all 4 books. If it didn't you might have found a bug.
I really enjoyed the voice acting and the puzzles. The atmosphere made me feel confused and uncomfotable and i love that
Thanks for playing! That's funny because I just kinda half assed through the voice thing together because we had no audio until the last ~12 hours. So I recorded myself messed with the audio in audacity and scrambled to find the other sound effects. My kids both played the game and didn't realize I was the voice haha
Very cool, the levers tricked me into feeling smart for a minute, and that's always appreciated
Thanks for playing! Binary is fun haha
Was the lever puzzle the last one? I liked this puzzle, escape game very much! Was peeking into every corner as I didn't know what could possibly be in the next room haha. Nice game!
Thanks for playing! After the lever there is a "Exit" button. You know "It's Been There All Along"
It's great to see a genuinely well-rounded room escape puzzle title. I think there's a lot of interesting dimensions to take the glasses and have them interplay with the puzzles. This is definitely a cut above the usual trope you see of locating keys, and I appreciate the time taken to design some inventive puzzle ideas relating to ordering switches and objects and using color and binary number clues. In terms of constructive criticism, definitely recommend thinking how puzzle design can be woven into the fabric of the environment for immersion. Great work with this and the effort you've put into the game is really self-evident!
Thank you for playing! We appreciate the feedback.
