Cool game! I really liked the effects. The music accompanied it really well and gave the game an eerie atmosphere. Good job! :D

Developer

Thanks so much! I’m slowly getting better at music (I think) haha! :)

Very cool experience, couldn't hear anything but the vibes and general atmosphere were pretty cool. I really want to understand how did you make the spiral effect! Good job!

Developer

Thanks! Sorry you couldn’t hear the music. Were you playing the web version? If so, which browser did you use? I’m just curious if I could recreate the issue. Glad you enjoyed it anyway! Thanks again :)

It was an issue on my end! It does sound but a bit low in my opinion, I'm playing on Edge right now and 100 volume without headphones, I think that the only thing left was for an SFX when touching the bottle. Keep up the good work! :)

Developer

Thank you! Yeah I agree with the music being too low—I’ll fix that at some point in the next day or two. Thanks again for your feedback, it’s helpful!

Awesome idea!

Developer

Thanks! :)

Congrats on your submission!  I was waiting for a jump scare the whole time so I was on edge.  The pattern mixed with the blurriness made it very trippy.

Developer(+2)

Thank you! That's definitely what I was going for! I might have a small update after the jam that might make you feeling on edge more justified... ;)

ghost's choice right here

Developer

Thank you! That's very kind :)

This spiral really messed with my head, it's not because I got lost because I had too many drinks, or if I was going in the opposite direction the whole time lol

Otherwise I found it quite intriguing and creative. Congratulations on the idea!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yeah--definitely wanted to mess with people's heads haha! I hope to expand on the idea more :)

And you did a great job lol

- If you have time, take a look at our project :D

I will forever obsess about how you made this hahaha What an interesting experience, definitely a stand out visually.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I might put together something to go through how I put together all this stuff for the game--if I do I'll reply here to let you know! Otherwise, I mostly used raymarching techniques if you're interested in looking that up (there's some really good content on youtube with different things you can do with it) :)

Submitted(+1)

I will definitely look it up, thanks so much for the tip! Loved your game, keep making awesome stuff! :D

I really liked the changing spirals. I could see this game turning into something more but it is very creepy as is! Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yeah, definitely tons of room to expand with this concept :)

One of the coolest submissions I've seen. Good job.

Developer

Thank you!

The concept is cool and creative, but.. there's no sound?

Developer

Uh oh! Maybe there's a bug? What version did you play (browser or download)? I might have also made it too quiet (but you should be able to boost it a bit in the settings).

No worries if you can't get it working for you--thank you for your kind words! :)

Man I enjoyed that, it's extremely creative.

I wasn't expecting to find non-Euclidean geometry come up in a horror jam but this is quite eerie. Definitely an impressive feat to figure out how to construct this without models, with corridors taking on disorienting and dizzying forms. I interpreted the game's bottle as an irony of vision: to the alcoholic, a disordered space suddenly becomes quite ordered. Or at least until the drink wears off. Please continue experimenting with unusual 3D forms. Stuff like Antichamber and Manifold Garden proves there's definitely a market for strange geometry in indie games!

Developer

Thanks so much! I really appreciate your analysis; it's what I was going for so I'm glad took that away from it! Definitely would love to do more work like this :)
