“VICTORY, YOU MADE IT!”
Wow, those kids were definitely not fans of the music!
This was a fun little bullet hell-style game! I loved the music and the art style. It was nice that each level had its own unique design and assets. I also really appreciated the inclusion of volume controls, so many jam games skip this and end up destroying my ears.
If I were to make any suggestions, I think having enemies with more complex bullet patterns could make the gameplay more engaging. I also found myself wanting to try and beat the game as fast as possible, so a timer feature might be a nice addition.
I did encounter a couple of bugs:
-
During my first playthrough, the kids didn’t throw anything at me. I tried to replicate the bug, but couldn’t. I have no idea what caused it.
-
As others have mentioned, the menu is broken after you die. If you beat the game, the menu works, but the music doesn’t play during a second playthrough.
Great work overall!
Neat game!
I loved the voice acting and the premise, such a cool idea. However, I personally found the game a bit too difficult, and the hints felt too abstract. I was able to solve one of the puzzles, but I couldn’t figure out the “Quiet Hands” and “Direction” ones.
The “Direction” puzzle seemed clear in terms of what to do, but when I tried it, nothing happened, so I wasn’t sure if I was doing it wrong or if something wasn’t working. I also had a bit of trouble selecting items to pick up, it was hard to aim the cursor properly.
Great work overall!
Cool game!
I loved the art style, especially the character and enemies. The core gameplay loop worked really well, too. I really liked how the upgrades affected the map, I thought that was a very unique mechanic.
I did encounter a small bug where I died on level 4, and the rotating blockage came with me back to level 1.
Great work overall!
This is a really neat concept!
There were some really cool animations here! However, I couldn’t quite figure out what I was supposed to do. I felt like I interacted with and gave up on every item in the game, but nothing seemed to happen. Also, when I went to the door and selected “Go to School” or “Go to Cafe” the buttons didn’t do anything, are these the future maps you’re planning to add?
Great work overall! I feel like if you develop this idea further, it could turn into a really cool and thought provoking narrative-driven type of game.
I managed to get to 16 points on Advanced mode.
I really liked this game! I do agree that it’s a bit on the harder side, maybe a little too much so. I had an issue when trying to select Advanced mode. It kept selecting Easy mode for some reason. I eventually got it to work, but I’m not sure if it was a bug or just me being dumb.
Anyway, great work!

This is such a good game! I loved the movement and how you can build up so much speed by dashing, it’s incredibly satisfying. There was one level with a bunch of ramps that reminded me of CS:GO surfing.
The idea of weapons switching after each use worked really well, although I did find myself sticking to guns and mostly ignoring swords and shields.
Great work, this is a really solid game!
“Thank you for playing!”
This is a cool game! It took me a while to figure out that you had to touch the icon to proceed to the next level. Once I figured that out, I was able to beat the game fairly quickly.
I did find that the music got a bit annoying after a while and felt a little too loud as well.
Great work overall!
Great game! The narrative was well put together, and I really enjoyed talking to the different characters.
That said, the loop part was a bit annoying to sit through (the section that says “your consciousness is fading away.”). I think the replay could have been much faster there. I also found the music a bit repetitive after a while, especially since it doesn’t loop.
Great work overall!
I managed to get to six points on Slow mode (I think).
This is a neat reaction-time based game. It took me a couple of tries to figure out what to do, but once I did, it was fun. I share the same opinion as some of the previous comments: I think the first level gets a bit annoying, and it would be better if you died as soon as it becomes impossible to win. Waiting for a level to end after already failing got irritating, I just wanted to jump into the next attempt right away.
Another issue I had was with the main menu design. It seemed to select whatever option the moving line was on when I clicked, but I expected it to choose the option I was pointing at with my cursor. It might of done this but I wasn’t sure. That made it a bit confusing to use.
Overall, great game! I really like the concept.
This is a very interesting entry! I loved the shrinking and growing mechanics. That was such a unique idea, and I can see so many cool things you could do with it. The music was also extremely good.
My main issue was that I struggled to figure out what to do. I managed to find the two doors but had no clue what to do once I was inside.
Great job overall! I’d love to see what you do with these mechanics in the future.
