Really good. While basic, it nails certain things. Sensitivity was a bit of an issue. And trying to rebind WASD to ZQSD ended up with both 'Q' and 'D' only ever allowing me to go right. I think this goes for any rebind of "left," but when left alone and after changing to QWERTY in my OS, it functioned fine.
The atmosphere is great, it's simple, bit rough here and there but that's to be expected from a Game Jam game which always have a very limited dev time. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, which I suppose was the intention. Not knowing what to expect, with no escape, your last line to sanity removed, doomed to do your job and walk to certain doom. Certainly works. If a bit goofy at the end.
I don't like the rating system, or most rating systems, so 4/5 notwithstanding, I'd have given it maybe a generous 72-75-78%. Somewhere along that. Mostly because I'm a sucker for simulation games, and now I need to find a ferry simulator. As this was oddly satisfying.
Addendum: I wasn't aware there were other endings, and options. Strangely when trying before on my own playthrough, nothing seemed to work. I must've missed something or not have done them properly. I only figured this out later from someone else's playthrough. It does change the perception on the game a little, but I'll leave my original review as is, after playing. As it's not all that important.
