Very cool concept!, I think it would be great if you could make the car look more eerie.

Developer

Thanks! I`ll think about it)

This is such a unique idea! It was a lot of fun driving the car but sadly I got snagged on corners a lot and got stuck, I think make the turn a little longer and more smooth but other than that, great work! :D

Developer

Thanks, i think about updating car controlling, but dont want do too much changes)

This is the best thing I've seen in my life

Thanks! Glad you like it)

Congrats on your submission!  I had trouble spending a lot of the gas as I kept getting stuck on the side of the road and couldn't move away fast enough.

Arigato! I make an update after jam)

I loved the mechanics, but it was while playing your game that I understood why I don't have a driver's license lol

It was almost impossible for me to travel any part of the road, I was desperate with the devil screaming in my ears, the sound was excellent, not to mention the graphics that reminded me of 2AA games from a while back

Congratulations on the project and good luck to you

Really enjoyed driving the car and fighting the filthy demon inside who tried to throw me into a ditch! I was fully locked in with some Initial D music in my mind while taking corners haha

The concept itself is interesting, I would very much like to see this evolve with different tracks, other cars on the road and maybe a better physics when crashing.

I didn’t fully understand the defeat condition. Is the demon inside the car trying to kill you by turning the heat on and you can use the A/C to cool him down ?

Nice submission overall, congrats !

Developer

Thanks for playing! A heater and an air conditioner are needed to spend fuel faster, but the main character may lose consciousness from excessively low or high temperatures)

This was a cool idea! The voice acting is really good. I found the car is really hard to control even without the demon steering you left or right randomly. Also, the heater/air condition dialogue plays multiple times before it lets me turn it on. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Some bugs are be fixing in the next update)

This game takes a bunch of interesting ideas and risks that I think set up a lot of potential for a fuller game. The idea of wrestling control from a demonic car that ignores you at every turn, veering into the walls at breakneck speed, is a pretty scary one. It's really cool that you gave voice acting a go and narrated the character's predicament and the commanding intonations of the evil car. As others have said, thinking about how to tweak the user experience of maintaining momentum on the ride and managing the resources of gas and temperature without the demon's commands breaking flow could be helpful for pacing. I think this is a really good proof of concept for something that could be quite ambitious. Speed except a horror game, maybe? The possibilities are endless!

Developer

Thank you so much for such a detailed review! I wanted to introduce an intro in the form of 3D cutscenes to better clarify the position of the main character, but I did not have time in time. Regarding the UX, there are already some developments to improve it, which will appear in the next updates!

Nice voice acting, but yeah, I ran out of fuel but.. nothing seems to happen. I stopped the car and nothing also...

Is the idea that we expect to be free after fuel runs out but it doesn't? As in a twist? But.. I feel like I couldn't reach the conclusion.

Thanks for the playing!
There was bug, i falredy ixed it right now, you can update game)

I enjoyed this game! It's a cool idea. I love the aesthetic of the game, and effects on the voices sound so good, especially the possessed car's!

Some other feedback based on my experience playing: I didn't really understand what was going on the first time around, but the second time I tried it things made more sense! Actually one thing I am still a little confused on--is the goal to deliberately run out of fuel? I got to 0, but nothing seemed to happen/change. I just wasn't entirely sure if that was the intention--either way it's pretty interesting! I can see it being pretty clever to stop a possessed car by making it run out of fuel, and that not actually working out is scary :)

Great job on the game!

This was a pretty neat idea. The sharp corners were a little tricky sometimes. I can see the idea being expanded on some to make a small interesting story.

Thanks for feedback! There is have the story, it's on the game page)

Interesting concept, it reminded me of Stephen King's Christine in a way haha

I found the controls a bit janky, turning was very difficult at high speeds and I couldn't figure out what the AC did.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! To be honest, I've never read King or watched a movie like this)
