Honestly I had a blast. I really should try to make my jam games in 3D !!! I never dare to do so but...those shaders, those lights...it was so great ! well done !

Developer

Thx for playing xD Pretty much used post processing and some basic primitives, there is actually only 1 custom model which was the breaker ,the rest is all just cubes and cylinders xD 3D can look great, but its never easy in such a short time frame.

As someone who enjoys shooters, these type of games are always a treat. Really like the simplicity in this one. Not really any distractions disrupting gameplay or anything aside from the breaker, but you only use it as a last resort. Liked the aesthetics and sound as well. Also having an online leaderboard is a great touch. Fun game!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it xD

I played easy mode with a Mouse

I had to force myself to stop playing after 100k.

Will come back. As I commented on the game page, this is an excellent cross between an osu-esque rhythm game and an fps aim trainer.

Who did the music?

Developer

glad you like it xD, the music was just a track I found on Epidemic soundwhich I have access to thanks to a MCN I'm with on my YT channel, its credited on the game page.

Really liked it! Was kinda hard, but in the addicting fun way!

The sounds were soo satisfying!

Thx for playing, glad you liked it xD

I have the high score on hard >:)

Really cool, great music, lovely art, relaxing but also energizing; really fun and addictive.

Although I think you need to find a way to make it get even harder since I was on hard mode for ages and I eventually gave up lol. I know I should try keyboard but still it feels like there should be some extra challenge somehow.

Developer

Glad you liked it xD, fair point on the diffuculty, there was a ramp up in the game, though it mayhave needed to be set a little harder.

This was a lot of fun. It reminded me of a FPS aim trainer exercise and was just as fun and addictive. The online leader board is very nice too. Overall a very fun and well made game!

This a great looking and fun game!

  • I really love the atmosphere of the room combined with the glowing lights!
  • The detail of the music fading out when you're about to lose is pretty neat
  • Very thankful for the leniency of the clickable area of the button, especially the further ones
  • Having an online leader board is amazing and you have my respect
  • And after 3 minutes of clicking, I've  realized that this was not a game about dexterity but a game of endurance
  • Another 5 minutes and I gave up on clicking the lights on the top 2 levels and just focused on the bottom level
  • Another 10 minutes and I let my poor wrist rest by focusing on a single light
  • Another 8 minutes and I decided the honorable way for me to lose was by making every light the same color
  • At last, I lost with a respectable score of -53480

Thank you for making this game! I've had fun and I hope you had fun while creating this!

Developer

Thx, I'm glad you had some fun with it. Yea I made the buttons hit box bigger, as even I found it hard to press them if they were too acurate xD and an impressive score to end on too, guessing due to trying to get all the buttons the same colour xD

More like a rhythm game and I like them, An osu! player so I was good at clicking those buttons, Used a drawing tablet to aim xD... Hope your not mad at me because of that. Nice fun game overall and very addicting

Developer(+1)

A graphics tablet is certainly a different input option xD Glad you enjoyed it :)

If you heard of the rhythm game osu! then you know what is that aim requirement in that game... Hence my skill carried on... xD

Developer

Not by the name but by a quick google I have seen the game played on som random twitch highlights xD

I saw you have been commenting on a lot of other peoples games, so I thought its only fair if throw some love your way!  :)

The music is nice and chill!  I ended up playing a lot more than I thought, got up to almost 40k points!

Well done!  :)

Nice game! Did not realize that there were different difficulties in the beginning and ended up playing on easy mode for around 30 mins on the first try and got a score of 1.7 million. My hands were tired after that, so did not play hard mode for a long time. Cool BGM, gameplay felt really smooth. Overall, quite an enjoyable game and good practice in aiming for anyone that plays FPS games.

I think our games are the only 2 with online leaderboards...

Developer(+1)

I'm just glad it works xD, took way longer tha I'd liked it too, had to cut the local versions to get it done in time.

How are you hosting it? What did you write it in?

I made mine in NodeJS

Developer(+1)

Hosting it on my rented webserver for my domain, using a mysql database & php scripts to get/send data to it and webrequests in unity to call them.

that sounds like a proper frustration to set up
