I can see you had an idea but not enough time to implemented specially for a 3D game, the concept of the bullets being decided by the dice is a nice way to implement it. Sadly I can't rate the sound but liked the skull asset you chose.
Props for the effort on getting your game to this point with the limited time!

I don't there were many 3D games made in this jam, nice try.
P.S please try and rate my game
Idk why the rating is so important to you. Gameplay-wise, it's just the beginning of creating the basic mechanics of a shooter. The game isn't in a good condition to comment on. It's full of bugs. The game only formally corresponds to the theme.
I'm not trying to cheat! You're terribly mistaken I'm not asking the people to make my game win!
- I didn't disrespect anyone, you're the one who keeps pushing it......a guy dreaming isn't bad
- I agree other devs have made it better than me so you don't have to put salt on my wounds.
- if I or any other dev who wasn't able to make what they imagined somehow ends up in the top 10 with their unfinished game I won't be unhappy!
- By what you already said this means I should stop joining jams.....since it's hard to make something good enough while making it solo(if you're a solo dev you'd understand, but by the way you speak it seems you don't understand)
- Me dreaming of to be on the top ten has nothing to do with any of the other dev's games since all of them should dream that too....
- Me trying to reach the top ten doesn't mean others can't reach the top too ! So you're acting childish!
You yourself wrote that you were asking for a rating, as you do in hopes of reaching the top. As I already wrote, this won't allow you to manipulate the results. Yes, that's not cheating. So, yes, I didn't write it very correctly. I'm not accusing you of cheating. And I apologize if it seemed that way.
I meant that the results could probably be manipulated in other ways.
I didn't say what you wrote in point 4. Although I do think that creating and making money from games isn't as simple as it seems from the outside. (I develop games alone. I don't understand you because I have a completely different level of skills, even though I wasn't able to demonstrate them in the jam.)
So first of all, I really like the base idea of integrating dice into bullet mechanic. But honestly more dice mechanics need to be expanded in the game. Just seeing that this game was meant to be a survival horror FPS already paint a great picture in my mind on how will this game turn out to be given the time and resources.
Imagine this, you're in a room with monsters, and ur out of ammo every minutes. Each of those breathtakingly scary moments made u wish the dice don't fumble, that will surely keep me on my seat. Initially I thought needing to hold M2 to lock into gun view is kinda weird. But WHAT IF, what if when you're unlocked, you can anywhere without removing movement direction. Pair that up in a chase scene where you need to look back and you can get jumpscared any moment, that will surely get me.
This is really one of unfortunate cases where the lack of time and resource halt some of the progress, but I can really see this being a very solid game on its peak that u can enjoy in a game night hearing your friend scream in a Discord call getting jumpscared.
Oh I think I get what you mean.....you mean the press Right mouse button to lock cursor could be like -> mouse cursor can't be locked and the player does have to look back to know if they're being chased or not.......so the player controls the player like in roblox where W & S keys move the player forward and backward and the A & D keys rotate the camera FOV
Nice game with nice concept.
Also try and rate our game we will waiting for your feedback.
Hello! It seems like you didn't have time to do everything you wanted to in the game! Nevertheless, the game reminded me of the old games we all started with! Good luck! Well done!
I liked the concept, I believe with more development time it could be even more fun! Please check out my game too!
Why ?
It's a survival Horror with Shoot em all mechanics, the game uses the dice mechanic to control the player's fate of how long they can stave off their impending doom. Also I this game is nowhere near completion but I added most of the info about the game that came to my mind......So if you don't understand something - Please explain which part you don't understand/find unsatisfying in detail so that I can fix/explain that ?
Also I'm grateful that you took the time to play/rate my game......
Thank you!
Rated your game it's nice but you should've enabled the itch's in built fullscreen button to help your game be more easy to use/play since while playing I accidentally pressed the "Rate ZiggleWings" link and had to restart playing from start.....other than that good art and soothing music....did you by any chance make the music yourself ?
It's hard to rate this game since there are many missing features, like the lack of any sound or even a scoring system (At least not that I've seen).
I'm assuming that the dice roll concept was implemented with the number of enemies that spawn.
This game could be developed into something bigger and more detailed. I'd say adding sounds to player feedback would really help, and maybe add some sort of objective so the player would have something to move towards or aim to improve (A simple score at the top of the screen would be good).
Thanks for rating/commenting !
Currently the game does count a score but it's not shown on the screen, when you submit the score it shows, though it seems there's a bug that prevents the leader board to record the player name. This game is like megabonk without the exploration but in sequels I'll add everything starting from lore, exploration etc.
Also I'm sorry I didn't add any audio since I used up that time planning my "stupid cinematic gun reload animation" that I eventually couldn't add in the end....I know due to the lack of audio most likely this game might not even rank in the top 10.
Its hard to tell when player is getting Hit , no sounds makes it harder to know if enemy is close since they can spawn anywhere
but solid work
Thanks!
With the time constraint that's as far as I could finish, I feel bad that I couldn't add sounds even though I had a file in mind.....Plus I spent the most amount of time trying to animating the gun properly and figuring out the Playgama SDK. I wish I didn't fall alsleep two days prior then by working on the game overnight I might have had a better submission than now.....
Rated your game, it's currently set in the hard mode my Highest score was 253. what you can do to improves this game is add some 2d spiky overlay to make it look that the player is running very fast. Among the BG musics used the one with the beat was a better choice for this game. Also remove all the soothing BG music. Overall nice game, needs some polish to rival the sonic endless running games. I didn't use the weapons so I don't know what's the use of them or how they are related to your game world so please explain why you added them......Also right now after jumping the player falling down is a bit slow so it seems they are falling in slow motion which according to me is hiding the satisfying feeling that players get when they jump in an endless running game like yours.......so I recommend you increase the gravity for the player so they reach the ground a little faster.....
best review so far
first of all thank you for testing my game
answering your questions :
1. there is no hard or easy mode it just one game setting that makes it hard and that is speed of object you have small window to react to incoming obstacles and enemies so you would need to jump and crouch early and not wait for objects to get close .
2.music it just a rushed thing i had little time left to publish the game so i choose the most generic music no copyright you can find out there didn't pay much attention to it .
3. some enemies track player aggressively and when killed they give you 100+ point so they help you with reaching max score you can get. reason why added enemies is to prevent player from camping in corners guns are there to help you counter enemy "E" to use weapons .
4.when player is middle of air you can press "S" key or "Down" arrow key to quickly bring player down from air
fun game!! i like the ambience and the idea that the amount of bullets you get is determined by a dice roll is great, feel like with a bit more enemy variance and stuff going on in the level it could be a banger. great work!!!!
also i did eventually end up with zero enemies spawning after a while so i was kind of softlocked, but i still had fun :)
Thanks! 😃
"also i did eventually end up with zero enemies spawning after a while so i was kind of softlocked"
I didn't get enough time to fine tune the enemy spawning but the plan was to have 3 enemy variant but spent too much time on playgama SDK and my stubbornness to stop trying to make a cinematic gun reload to make the game more appealing.
