The abyss concept came straight from the jam theme, so I’m glad that came through!
I’ll definitely try experimenting with mid-air jump charging — thanks for the suggestion 🙂
Ok on it bro! 🙂 Just that I joined the GDKO jam recently in hopes of getting a free aseprite key, and truth be told I made a couple of more unfinished games since Crumble Blobs, like Bullet Dice, Missile Mayhem etc.
But since you're wish for the multiplayer mode of Crumble Blobs I'll start working on it asap. These days I'm occupied with studies from 07:00am to 16:00pm, but I promise you that I'll be adding the extra features(modes like multilayer etc. so that you can have some fun 😁.
Also thanks a lot for your patience, I'll be back with you soon!
Ah....one more thing I forgot to mention I also pondered about adding a minimap just like dark deception to aid in finding the crystals, but failed to do so due to time constraints, you can try my other games like missile mayhem and bullet dice if you got some free time, I'd appreciate your thoughts on them.
PS: Bullet dice still has a lot of room for improvement but its a lot better than before.
Yeah 😪🥲, I ugh...actually only got time to make this from 4pm to 10pm and a whole monday when I was at home(since I make games after work, plus the first idea I had, on which I started working but left mid way was too big to be finished in the jam duration)
But thanks for your honest review, this will help me become a better environment designer and improve this game.
thanks for letting me know that there was a bug in the bedroom, I didn't get much time to play test and the day I was building I had to go work at 7:00am and I stayed up till 1:34am at night making the game....thankfully I was able to squeeze in some sleep after that and go work 😅.
Thanks for spending your time on my hunk of junk....If I get some time I'll definitely check your game out😊
I'm not trying to cheat! You're terribly mistaken I'm not asking the people to make my game win!
Oh I think I get what you mean.....you mean the press Right mouse button to lock cursor could be like -> mouse cursor can't be locked and the player does have to look back to know if they're being chased or not.......so the player controls the player like in roblox where W & S keys move the player forward and backward and the A & D keys rotate the camera FOV
Rated your game, it's currently set in the hard mode my Highest score was 253. what you can do to improves this game is add some 2d spiky overlay to make it look that the player is running very fast. Among the BG musics used the one with the beat was a better choice for this game. Also remove all the soothing BG music. Overall nice game, needs some polish to rival the sonic endless running games. I didn't use the weapons so I don't know what's the use of them or how they are related to your game world so please explain why you added them......Also right now after jumping the player falling down is a bit slow so it seems they are falling in slow motion which according to me is hiding the satisfying feeling that players get when they jump in an endless running game like yours.......so I recommend you increase the gravity for the player so they reach the ground a little faster.....
Rated your game it's nice but you should've enabled the itch's in built fullscreen button to help your game be more easy to use/play since while playing I accidentally pressed the "Rate ZiggleWings" link and had to restart playing from start.....other than that good art and soothing music....did you by any chance make the music yourself ?
Why ?
It's a survival Horror with Shoot em all mechanics, the game uses the dice mechanic to control the player's fate of how long they can stave off their impending doom. Also I this game is nowhere near completion but I added most of the info about the game that came to my mind......So if you don't understand something - Please explain which part you don't understand/find unsatisfying in detail so that I can fix/explain that ?
Also I'm grateful that you took the time to play/rate my game......
Thank you!
Thanks for rating/commenting !
Currently the game does count a score but it's not shown on the screen, when you submit the score it shows, though it seems there's a bug that prevents the leader board to record the player name. This game is like megabonk without the exploration but in sequels I'll add everything starting from lore, exploration etc.
Also I'm sorry I didn't add any audio since I used up that time planning my "stupid cinematic gun reload animation" that I eventually couldn't add in the end....I know due to the lack of audio most likely this game might not even rank in the top 10.
