Awesome entry! I especially enjoy the strategy in how fast or slow you need complete the yellow part so you can make sure that the green part is protected.

Excellent submission. Congratulations!

I love the concept of this game. It forces you to be spatially aware and plan ahead. Love the art style too!

From the games that I played in this jam, this is the best one. everything is just working great, and it's really polished.
*Found a small bug when you press submit 2 times it saves both of them (even though I had one run)

Developer

Thanks for letting me know about the double-submit bug.

I'll add that issue to the game page.

And thanks for the feedback, good luck with the rest of the jam :D

Thanks! apparently, you also made the downside, which was my favorite game from the blackthornprod  jam

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah it's funny how you tend to run across some of the same people from jam to jam :D

I actually remember your entry from that jam too!

Seems like you've learned a LOT in the last year.

Thank you so much! it's incredible how you managed to make this game in only 3 days...

We both made a light-based game using Godot and we also have a somewhat similiar cover art, nice ahahah. I loved the minimalistic art and the light mechanic was also really interesting, even though I think that the game should be a bit more punishing when the green square goes into the light: I managed to cheese most of the levels with very little regards of what the yellow one did. Anyway, it's one of the best entries in the jam in my opinion, excellent work!

Developer(+1)

Nice! That is funny how similar our games ended up :D

Loved your game, great atmosphere and sound design.

Thanks for the feedback, and good luck with the rest of the jam!

I like this game concept!

I want to try other levels and see how this idea can evolve.

Good job.

I really like this puzzle game!

Wow, the mechanics work suprisingly well for a game jam game, and were explained rather well. Good use of the theme, and overall a fun little game

Played on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/asfunasfun

Nice puzzles! I like the mechanics. Easy to understand and makes ya think a little. Good work.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I just caught it on stream :)

Appreciate the feedback, good luck with the jam!

What a unique and well put together game! I wish there were more levels! :D So good!

Submitted(+1)

Amazing game and awesome concept! I would love to see some cool sounds to go along with everything!

Really unique idea, clean graphics, after certain point can't progress, cause can't jump high enough, both on WebGL and Windows build. :(

On Windows build can't see times in leaderboard.

Hoping for some updates & bug fixes after Jam.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback!

You're not the only one who had an issue with the jumping.

What browser were you playing the web version in?

Just trying to track down what users might have an issue with this bug :)

Firefox, but can't jump high enough on Windows build too.

Here's some feedback on your game:

1. The theme

The concept is really interesting, i'm glad to see something unique after all the "there's something in the middle and you have to shoot things around it to protect it" games XD. (Don't get me wrong, they are good, but there are just so many of them!)

2. The gameplay

I think the game really introduces its mechanics well, but (for me at least) it was way too difficult and thus a bit frustrating.

3. The Graphics

The graphics look simple, but really nice, really shows how much you can do with a nice font and color scheme (many people can draw very well but just don't do these points right).

4. The sound

I don't think there are any sound effects, are there? Maybe add some! Also, i think i know that music from somewhere, did you make it yourself or what is it called?

I hope my feedback helped you, overall this is a solid submission, i think it will be ranked pretty high, good luck in your futre jams! :)

Developer(+1)

The music is from Kevin Macleod.

His royalty free music is probably some of the most commonly used music in games and videos across the internet.

Highly suggest you check him out sometime if you're ever looking for game music :)

Loved all about this game.

Played all the levels, you have good concept to explore if you want, you can do a lot of new things to add more content like switches, mobile platforms and etc...

Good job!

Submitted(+1)

I like the game! very fun and very challenging! what a creative way to use the theme

Submitted(+1)

Awesome use of the theme! I'm not quite coordinated enough to play it though.

Developer

Yeah, I always end up making jam games a little too difficult.

It's hard to judge when you spend so long testing it while making the game :)

Thanks for the feedback and good luck with the jam!
